So I've noticed that I'm just an Honorable Member now. Did I do something wrong? I got no messages with warnings by the

You just dropped down in activity, so that's why you lost the Heroic title. Just post a little more in the main forums, and you'll get it back sooner or later.

It's not necessarily a drop in your activity. From your description, it sound more likely that other members have a higher activity than you, meaning that you may lose your Heroic. But yes, increasing your activity should help you gain the title back.

There's no confirmed title cap for Heroic members (as far as I know). There was only a title cap for Mythic members a while ago, but it hasn't been confirmed if it's still in place or not.

I expect the titles are limited via the size of the bungie.net member population for exmaple:

X number of members of which
05% are *Mythic
15% are *Legendary
25% are *Heroic
The rest of the population (55%) are normal 'Members'.

The bigger the population the more Mythic, Legendary and Heroic members there will be, the smaller the ppulation the less Mythic, Legendary and Heroic members there will be.

*If they meet the requirements

That would explain a lot, that is if that's how the system works though. Too bad we'll probably never know for sure.

I got the title less than a month ago, how could someone beat my ''requirements'' anyway?
I'm very active during this period.

Someone else must have been more active I guess.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Time to renew the waiting game for any sort of title increase.

I don't think you can achieve a main title just by signing in. You're going to have to post in either the main forums or a private group in order to receive and maintain a main title.

Signing counts as activity, therefore just signing in does help. Just not as much.

I don't think so. You're going to have to post in either the main forums or a private group (along with, of course, signing in) in order to receive and maintain a main title.

That's true, but I don't think that you can receive and maintain a main title from just signing in.

Note: I edited my original post, so I apologize that you read my reply before it was edited.

I maintained my Heroic title just by signing in, although it wasn't until I started posting more that I gained Legendary (although I've now lost it, as my account was unlinked to my GT).

You have account age on your side, I've seen quite a few members with account ages from 2006 and back that seem to be able to maintain Heroic simply by just signing in and very rarely posting.

No. You can. I know plenty of Noble Members that have not posted once but sign-in consistantly and are of course Noble Members.

Those titles go by ban history say if you where to create account 2 years ago and never be active and came back today you would be a noble member

I'm talking about main titles, not prefixes. Main titles are Heroic, Legendary, and Mythic.

Because:

1) My account's older.

2) Making a wild poke in the dark here, but I assume that I've been banned less than you.

Does having a linked GT really have anything to do with whether or not you maintain a base title?

Linking your GT can contribute to earning a title, it works the other way too. Unlink it and you could possibly lose the title.

From bungie.net directly? No, I don't think so.

But you can do it, some weird thing with changing the Windows Live ID (WLID) associated with your gamertag to another WLID. Google knows all, though.
