Thanks for the info.
Will you get a title like Honorable or Absent Member if you are active longer than 1 year?
Can't wait for my new title. :)

I'm pretty sure an "Absent Member" title would come from inactivity.

And not to mention that the Honorable prefix is related to your ban history. If you are going to get a prefix based on activity, it's going to be Intrepid, or Fabled.

I first got my heroic status after three and a half months.

Yay. have never recieved any warnings or bans. I like how they use a "ranking" system as such in the forums, it helps me know which poster's are more reliable or credible rather as they have been around much longer than the normal member, though it is not always the case.
Never the less, i still like it :D

You and me both. i have never been warned or banned for anything. And your right. it does make it easier to see who is more reliable.

* Member - Basic title for all members; Vast majority of Bungie.net hold this title
**title bar color is dark-gray

Prefixes related to ban history or simply an absence of such
Honorable - worthy of honor and high respect

Your title is comprised of those two sets of information. Those are simply the definitions of your title and prefix, so there's not really much else to know, (if anything :-P).

From what I've seen, it takes 1 year of a completely clean ban history in order to obtain the Honorable prefix.

if that were true, i would be MUCH lower, the honest truth is we can only speculate the major contributing factors.

I went from member to Honorable Legendary Member in about a month, although it may be just a quick recovery from previous offenses.

After around a year I obtained the Honorable prefix, and I have witnessed this happen to many others as well. However what happens after that year I have not a clue about.

That's me. I've been banned too many times to be considered "Honorable".

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

Yeah a ban/warning of yours that would have been holding you back probably just expired. Boosting your trust rating back up.Posted by: Achronos
Bans/warnings also leave an extended "mark" on you that fades away over time - the longer the ban, the longer it takes after the ban is over for your trust rating to recover (we're talking months, not weeks).

"so let us cast our arms aside and thus discard our wrath,
Thou in faith, shall keep us safe whilst we find the path"

The system must be broken because I recently received a Legendary Title. To Bungie Forum Associates: please post a notice when the system is corrected.

It means something along the lines of Lost Guardian, or Lost Soul. It is given out to former Bungie employees who have created accounts on this site.

To my knowledge that title is granted to special members of the community, such as inactive Forum Ninjas and other examples that I am probably not thinking of.

EDIT: I see Hawk beat me to the punch... and I was wrong :(
