idk what i am, but is it impossible for ME to become higher than a theme master if i dont know bungie?
The highest any member can become is a Mythic Member. If they get a group theme selected for use (or multiple themes...I'm not sure which), then they can become a Theme Master.

There's also Webcam MVP, but that was only for the summer of 2007 (it could happen again though).

After that though, that's the highest you can become without being a moderator (ninja).

i wish i cna rank up 2 a heroic member, because i love 2 help people!!!
You don't have to be a Heroic Member to help people. Just be yourself.

It's called the "Report" button.

Taxes do nothing to affect the share of wealth, since taxes are only applied to income.

So that's not even a part of the conversation at all, so it's pointless talking about it....

"for a "best" moral to exist, there must exist the "best" moral base. If the base of morality varies from location to location, culture to culture...then there can't be an absolute moral..

this is exactly why i believe the titles are nearly worthless. how can a title "earned" after a single week indicate anything about the member's worth in the forums?

i do not know what values are a part of the formula, but it seems that the weights assigned to membership duration and number of posts is out of whack. from what i have seen, a person can get a title by starting a brand new account and making a large number of posts.

this does not lead to any problems, but it further shows how silly the titles are. giving labels to users sounds like a fine idea, but that they can be earned in such a fashion makes them hollow.

Proof there is a God.
My RT account page.
My Grifball user page.
So if you really want to get to know me, you're welcome to add me anywhere.

Obviously there was an issue with the system, which is now resolved.

Achronos also said that he'd be drastically downsizing the amount of Heroic members.

HEROIC MEMBER
* These members have gained a certain amount of trust throughout their Bnet life. Usually this is for the members who have been here a while (2 years or more), haven't received many warnings (if any) or bans (if any). There are more than likely other factors as well (but we'll never know). There are currently around 82000 Heroic Members as of February 6, 2008. This will likely be changed to around 10000 or 15000 Heroic Members.

I'm a heroic member which I just realized a little while ago and I don't think that it has to be 2 years to become heroic it's been just a little over 1/3 of a year 4 me. nevermind i've been added out of being a heroic member!

Obviously there is a bug that is trying to be fixed. Titles may seem worthless to you, for others, they might not be. Did you not see the whole thread "O, Im da Mystic M3mb3r!!11!1!one!!"? People were surprised and a little excited that they got be a Mythic Member (If only for a few hours).

Yeah...I know. Achronos said that he was trying to fix the current system; if he does, you'll probably lose your title.

Also, the entire FAQ is what I think everything is. I'm not entirely certain on some things.

There really are no "benefits." Theme Master's and Ninja's get a custom avatar. That's about it.

My Youtube channel

Thanks for the post it helped me understand what my title means and what other's titles mean...I think a member's title might also have to do with your postings, not necessarily the amount but constructive posts that follow the rules of agreement with bungie.net. I'm probably wrong but it doesn't hurt to believe in it haha.

Bam.

Nice resource, Duardo -- I don't recall ever seeing anyone with a Web Master title, but otherwise it's clear as crystal.
