"Except we, we're the zebras. All fenced in...and ready for the slaughter!"

That was a great post. Cleared up some of my confusion. Which is great b/c this whole topic is confusing.

You can definitely skip base titles, but I'm pretty sure you won't become a legendary member so quickly. If you scroll up to see a post I made earlier today, you'll see that the comparison of user activity to base title isn't a correct comparison (especially right now).

I wish that the "without a ban or warning" titles went higher and higher, or that there was some way that you can show you've gone beyond the title.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't mind a 5 year one, though it'd be a bummer to lose it, knowing you'd have to wait at least half a decade to reclaim it. Perhaps that's why 3 years was made the limit in the first place.

Thanks a lot, I hope you're talking about the post I referenced, which just so happened to be on the bottom of page 901.

This is very true, you make a good point. What if they do it by how often you get banned/warned and how severe the broken rule is. Then again, this will have the same consequences one of the problems with kill death rate in a video game, where the rate reflects on your whole career but not your current skill (assuming that kill death rate reflects upon your skill) in the game.

Good! I'm glad it helped. Where's my cookie!? :D

Yes that was the post I read.

Perhaps the higher prefixs should be reflective of a longer portion of time and a higher percent un-banned time.

Who the hell do you think I am?

I think it would be really cool if there were titles that you had to earn for doing other things.

A top topic or pinned topic does have to do with a good original post and subject, but most of the best topics are driven by the individuals that contribute the most to the discussion rather then the single individual that brought it up.

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Quick question to anyone that knows. Can you skip ranks?

On the OP it says one should be active for 1-12 months for Heroic and 1-2 years for legendary. I've been active, logging on every day, for almost 2 years (the 2 year mark is in April). If I were to be promoted would I be a Honorable Heroic or Honorable Legendary?
First time I got banned, I went straight from being a member to being Intrepid Legendary Member. Second time I got banned, I went from Fabled Member to Fabled Legendary.

It's possible to skip ranks depending on your trust level and activity on the site (or lack of thereof). Some post in groups and never in the main forums, but it's still contributing.

Burritosenior went right from Member to Fabled Mythic Member if I remember correctly.

That's only because he's was only banned for a little while after already being a fabled mythic member.

Are you sure? I remember asking him why his title was blue back in the halo 3 forums years ago.

(I'd like to add, like I do to all posts relating to my memory, that it's unreliable at times.)

Base titles/bar colors are always jumping around, and that could have been the case.

Well, that's what it says on his bungie.me profile.

But that could be outdated, so idk.

Now that I think about it, by the time I returned to B.net (this last time), burritosenior was already a normal member for some reason (and Tom T was a moderator... which is funny because I swear I remember him as a legendary).

Bungie.me is pretty unreliable at times, it says I jumped from member to exalted member only 2 months ago. But I don't discredit it.

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

Ah, i see what you are saying. It went offline a while back for sometime, it could be related to that in some way.
