"Absent Mythic Member". So much win :)
Wish it was possible, but unfortunately with absent, you lose all other parts of your title.

He had Absent Heroic. Others have had absent heroic too.

I think I could use that in my signature. :D

Yeah, I would mess around with you a little more by being mysterious and acting like I could be Achronos, but I think it's for the greater good that I just guarantee that I'm not him.

And plus; I got un-officially warned by a Ninja for joking around about being a secret Employee.

Yeah, it's impossible to have 2 prefixes.
Unless you are Achronos.

I'm sure Achronos could give himself 7 prefixes if he wanted to.

  • 12.24.2011 1:13 PM PDT

Achronos could give himself a suffix.

I bet he could give himself a sphinx.

Anyway, I would really want to have the custom title of "Amazingly Epic Member", it would be boss.

*waits for heroic/intrepid*

You know what, that's funny. You'd think talk about becoming an "amazing epic member" would be off-topic, but considering this topic's wide covering subject, it isn't... hmm... *pondering*

I have read it over quite a few times. I just didn't have a very firm understanding. I was under the impression that Elder was the highest, because it required the most amount of time present on this site. I was unaware of the fact that the titles were actually listed (1-9) from least to greatest.
^_^
Oh, right. Yes, prefixes further down the list take priority.

Shishka was an Absent Heroic Member, although he is now just an Absent Member.

On the subject of custom titles, do you think Achronos/Urk ever gives custom normal titles?

What do you mean? Do you mean like make a regular member a Mythic member?

Nah, that'd be too obvious. I mean give members the same base title but throwing on a prefix that shouldn't be active on the member.

So like make a regular member a "Elder Member" even though his account was made in 2011?

They let the ranking system give you what you deserve but in rare cases they have given users a prefix if they asked nicely. But only a prefix that user qualified for.

So like and Exalted Mythic Member could be changed to an Elder Mythic Member. But a Member would never be made into an Elder Member.

I know we've gone over this before, but I forgot, is it possible for intrepid/fabled to go away, if you just stop posting, but still log on so absent doesn't cover it?

I don't think so, as it seems to only be based on your total post count, as well as whether you have been warned or banned recently.

I have never seen a case when this happens. The only time that someone would lose their Intrepid/Fabled is after serving a ban. But usually their title recovers rather quickly.

  • 12.24.2011 4:30 PM PDT

Mushy got his Fabled back 1 day after he was unbanned.

I think age might have more to do with this. Notice how easily he got his title back to Mythic. He probably posted once. I think that the longer you've been a Member, the less the Absent prefix has an effect over the long-term.
