I think age might have more to do with this. Notice how easily he got his title back to Mythic. He probably posted once. I think that the longer you've been a Member, the less the Absent prefix has an effect over the long-term.

Sounds right.

Who the hell do you think I am?

I always thought that 'Elder Mythic Member' sounded the coolest.

Nah, 'Intrepid Mythic Member' sounds the coolest.

Honestly, I agree with Salty Chip. Elder Mythic Member sounds the best, with Senior Mythic Member in second.

But this is all opinion of course.

I feel like Elder should have been the last Prefix.

I also agree. But as Achronos said, Exalted is considered the highest prefix because you must go a large amount of time without once serving a forum ban, in which is harder than just being a member for a long time.

I know we've gone over this before, but I forgot, is it possible for intrepid/fabled to go away, if you just stop posting, but still log on so absent doesn't cover it?

You can never loose Fabled or Intrepid. Unless you qualify for a higher title. It can't be taken away in bans or inactivity.

If you are banned in a group, would that affect your title in any way?

Never.

Groups and mains are completely separate.

False. Many Intrepid/Fabled members that I know of, (preferablly Fabled Members) who have been issued a ban lose their prefix. But usually they gain it back rather quickly. I can use this example because on of my Troll alts which was Fabled served a forum ban, (for Trolling :P). After my ban time was up, I recieved my title back about a week or two later.

You loose all titles for the duration of a ban, maybe a little longer.

Come on guys, this is basic stuff here.

It only took me 1 day and 1 post to go from Member to Fabled Member on my last ban I believe.

Lies and slander. I think it was Shishka that had Honorable Absent Member or something. It was funny.

"Absent Mythic Member". So much win :)
Wish it was possible, but unfortunately with absent, you lose all other parts of your title.

Last time I saw, Shishka was an Absent Heroic Member. It is understandable, seeing as 'Absent' is the highest prefix. Therefore it is also possible for a Heroic, Legendary, or Mythic title to be unaffected by it.

The reason probably lies with the trust point factor. If one collates a huge amount of TP, then long absences should not affect the main title - up to a certain threshold, of cause.

I now can see why something like this could happen.

I guess that's okay, because mine can't go downwards.
