Your point being? Most people have been here much longer and are at the same rank as you. No big deal.

So... what is an honorable member?
I just discovered I was one today, and I have no idea what I did to deserve it. I am had hardly been active on the forums at all for a couple of months, and I was not that active anyway.

That doesn't mean you should take it away, of course.

But do any other Honorables know what they did?

P.S. Please don't take it away bungie... I promise I'll be more active, I promise!!!

Forum Ninjas are all nice

Mythic members are like people with tattoos. Just as soon as you become a Mythic member, you can kick anyone's ass. It really works.

This depends on your standpoint and whether or not you've done something to piss them off. For instance, I've been banned 3 times, and every time I went into a private group and -blam!-ed about how that ninja was a -blam!- -blam!- -blam!- -blam!- -blamity!- -blam!-.

But later I'd go and activate my whaaaaaambulance button and clean up the post.

Right this second, however, I have no problem with any of them at all.
Except yoozel who refuses to accept he appreciates my liquor runs. :/

Edit: Apparently I'm a Veteran Legendary Member now. woot

A member who has gone a certain (undisclosed) period without having incurred a ban.

It used to be much easier to become a Heroic member. One of my other accounts became Heroic after only a few weeks of posting. Then they changed it from earning a certain amount trust in comparison to everyone else that day to earning a set amount of trust compared to a number they have decided on.

It is my personal opinion that Heroic, Legenday and Mythic member titles are all the same, they just depend on how long you have been a member for. So to become Heroic you need x trust over a period of days, to be promoted to legendary you need x trust over a period of days plus you have to have been active for y months.

I also have a feeling that there are a set percentage of Heroic, Legendary and Mythic members and when one is demoted another is promoted.

Anyone want to comment on my theories?

The titles seem to be way more dependant upon how long someone has been a member rather than how active they are. I say this because I've observed members who have only posted a few times and have jumped straight to Mythic, while there are members who post 20 times a day and are only Heroic.

My personal theory is that the majority of trust gained is simply from staying on bungie.net for another day, and being active on the forums is just one of the ways to sustain that trust. That way there is somewhat of a maximum trust a member can achieve based on how old their account is, not necessarily by how active they are. Of course you also have to throw in peer influence, but the same principle stands. ^_^

Is a Noble Member does that mean i'm 2 places from becoming a legendary member status? What does Noble mean anyways? Is it like popular or just havnt be banned longer than honorary member?

There are approximately 250 Mythic members I believe, which I believe may be the total cap for Mythic Members.

The OP once had the number of members per title, but it's changed and since been removed from the OP.

It would be nice for Achronos to give us an update on the total membership, but it isn't necessary.

The prefixes and base titles work slightly apart from each other, you have to become Heroic before you can become Legendary. The prefixes do count as ranks per se, but as a title, one of those nine fits you best. Climbing the prefix table does not promote you to the next base title.

They're not ranks really, more titles than anything. (Prefix) (Base Title) - Exalted Heroic Member

Thanks Max2107, I always wonder if i had to climb through the prefixs before getting to heroic.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I love that I was a Legendary Member this morning and this afternoon I'm back to Mythic :)

The system works! Heh heh. Now observe, as every moderator scampers to warn me down to a Legendary member status!!! LMAO!

You don't kick a man when they're down, so don't teabag me when I'm dead!

Okay, if this maths formula of Achronos's is right, I can effectively become something other than just a member, even though I've been banned 8 times, as I can be relatively helpful and kind. Is that correct?

I've been banned six times dude so I'd say that there's a chance.

My Trust rating must be extremely high since I'm bouncing right back up again. I'm like the Jedi that never got accepted into the jedi Academy (HFCS) and turned to the dark side.

Yes it is. I've been banned, oh somewhere around 5-6 times and I eventually bounced back. And I'm almost certain some of the last batch of mods have been banned a few times.
