No, trust me. I'm positive you can't get veteran. Please refer to this list.
PREFIXES FOR BASE TITLES -- Added to title system on Nov. 13, 2008
Note - All info. has been gathered from many members; dates are only theories
- In order from lowest to highest

2. Veteran - Active member for 4 years
3. Noble - Active member for 2 years, with no bans for at least 1 year*
4. Senior - Active member for 5 years
5. Elder - Active member for 6 years
6. Intrepid - High post count
7. Fabled - Very high post count
8. Exalted - No bans/warnings in 3 years

Definitions
*If banned/warned, you may or may not keep the title, depending on length/number of bans. Source[/quote]
As you see, intrepid is above veteran, and since you can't lose intrepid or fabled (unless you are banned, in which it comes back instantly after your ban expires, or you attain exalted), you are stuck with it.
Well how do we know for sure that's the actual order? They said that there is no real order and that each depends on certain factors. No one ever said that.
And since when would it make sense to have post count title above seniority titles?Check the OP under "Prefixes." Although i changed "Absent" to be the "highest" since technically it overrides any prefix.
Oh...well okay then.
