Elder - Active member for 6 years...What I underlined there is what I have a problem with. I feel like it should say "of" not "for" because I definitely was inactive at parts of my 4 years here but I am still Exalted and Mythic. I feel like the member should be active, but it doesn't mean active consistently all throughout.
So, if you want the title, and I feel this is the way it works, you have to be an active member (obviously) as well as meet the prerequisite of time. I know this may seem confusing but what I'm trying to point out is that I feel it should say "Active member of X Amount of years" rather than "for X Amount of years."
It makes it a little discouraging to think a few months of inactivity will actually hurt your chances of ever reaching a title, simply because you were inactive during your span of membership for whatever reason; on the contrary, it really won't hurt a bit if you become active again. I know it's a small detail, but I've always wanted to put it out there. Ya follow me? If you read this entire post, you get a cookie.I had not read into it that far and thought I would be expecting Senior come this April. I do not think I will now as I was inactive for some stretch of that time (and I do believe I had become Absent for a short while).
I agree that it should be "...active for _ years..." as I feel time on this site should be represented slightly higher than activity. Life happens, and while I like to consider myself a Bungie.net member, life comes first.
Hell, I didn't think that the Exalted prefix was for consecutive years, I thought it was cumulative. I believed that I would be getting it back earlier this year, but that did not happen.
