It seems harder to get to each Mythic, Legendary, and Heroic level. But it maybe just me.
I think so, especially for Heroics. There are significantly less of them than before the update, more in line with the amounts of Legendaries and Mythics.

I have an alt that I'm never using since the only reason to why I created it in the first place was that I had two GT's and that other GT has now expired. Anyways, I noticed the other day as I was looking through an old thread that I had posted with this second account, I guess I had been signed in to fiddle with the service record and just happened to post.

That account was set to absent member so I figured that I would test some things on it. So I signed in but that didnt get rid of the absent prefix, posting one single post in a group did howver. With that out of the way I moved on to the mains and posted one post in the Underground....nothing happened. Here's the kicker, the next day when I was looking through that thread I had been posting in I noticed that this 2nd account of mine had been promoted to Heroic.....and that's after just one post in almost a year. So I guess there's a lot about the system we dont know yet. Oh I should probably point out that this alt. has never been banned and should age-wise be eligable for a Mythic Title.

Achronos stated that it was indeed more difficult to rank up after the update, but I have seen a few Legendary-to-Mythic members in the past few days.

I like it the way it is.

Harbinger of Death

Yeah, I just saw the prefixes and I was very confused, so I decided to check it out. It's very helpful, but are the prefixes random like Heroic, Legendary, etc?

Meaning do they come and go? Are they forum specific? If I was a Heroic member some time ago and didn't get banned what are the odds I will get a prefix?

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I'm proud, I haven't seen to many "Noble" members around.

Whoa! I stand corrected, my old friend! I haven't spoken to you in while as a matter of fact.

I'm almost there...
If the forum titles are based off different things (activity; lack of bans, etc.), how could one title be “higher” than another?
I'm just curious.

I think its better not to think of it as a rank, To be honest I really dont know whay bungie added the feature other than as a little treat!

I noticed this with a Heroic Member that posted a thread about how he had not been on the forums in about 6 months. I looked at his previous posts, and sure enough, he had not posted anything in about 6 months.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

Look up the word incentive.

There are two groups of people in the world - those that hope, and those that wish. The first group hopes that nothing bad will happen. The second group wishes that they are there when it does. Which one are you?

What's funny is that those who have been around long enough don't really need an incentive as they have already proven that they want to be here for the discourse and content and not the titles.

But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't cool.

Once I reach that rank it's a different story.

Well a person may be eligible for two or three prefixes. You can't have two or three prefixes, so it becomes necessary to have "better" ones.

Well i fell wonderful now.

  • 11.23.2008 4:58 AM PDT

"wonderful" is an adjective, not an adverb, and "fell" is the past tense, so you can't say "i fell wonderful now"; you mean "i fall wonderfully now"/"now I fall wonderfully" in case you want a word order that doesn't make you sound like a robot

or perhaps even "i then fell wonderfully" if you did mean "fell".
