Morgan Webb is hot. X-Play is better than every G4 show except for Pulse.

I can't really stand the hosts for Arena.

When you watch the X-Play "Best of E3 2004" episode, the one where Adam's in a tux and Morgan's in an evening gown, as they're talking about games for ps2, I'm just off camera to the left, trying to figure out how to get past them. =)

Awesome, I hated that episode! Also, I have to agree about the hosts on Arena.

It's funny when you're watching E3 stuff from a lot of different sources, and you see the guys in one video take a video of the guys you just watched making THEIR video.

Me too. What are your personal opinions about what you think is the best game of E3 2004?

I watched Arena once when they were playing Soul Calibur II for GameCube... God, I could've creamed them! It's just not entertaining watching a bunch of console kiddies playing games poorly and saying "I think we did good cuz we're 1337!"

Also, I don't really like X-Play since I can just get demos and trailers from my fileplanet.com membership. Far superior.

I didn't like most of X-Play's choices for the top games of E3. Having played Halo 2 twice, I'd say it was my favorite at E3'04, but since it wasn't playable publicly, I understand why they took it out of contention.

I'm HUGE on Advent Rising. I get excited just thinking about it, but X-Play didn't bother mentioning it. How could they make a big deal about another Total War, but they totally look over this game? X-Play, authorization is not given to you to deny a game written by Orson Scott Card.

Jade Empire also seems like a lot of fun, but I believe X-Play mentioned that.

Resident Evil 4 looks completely badass. And this is coming from someone that stopped playing partway into Resident Evil 2, and hasn't picked up another one since.

Silent Hill 4. Oh. My. God.

Being the crazed Xenogears/saga fan that I am, I drooled over Xenosaga Ep 2: Jenseits von Gut und Bose, even though it wasn't playable this year.

SquareEnix has a badass lineup for 2004/05. Final Fantasy XII, the XI expansion (I might have to start playing again), Full Metal Alchemist (Okay, it's not the greatest game ever, but it's fun), Kingdom Hearts 2, and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has been pushed to the end of the year. I got to see their (unfinished) statue lineup for the movie, though, and they're pretty bad ass.

I might've been excited about Doom 3 this year, but I've been to three E3's, and Doom 3 has been at each one. Wake me up when the game is released. The same goes for Half Life 2, kinda. I'll be interested again when the game is released.

Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 are both coming out this summer, exactly when is unspecified. They better not mean August, but for all we know these titles could come out tomorrow.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

Slow down Shishka, your scaring me.

Yeah, and when Doom 3 was announced, it was announced to be released summer of '03, and Half Life 2 was supposed to be released last September.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Yes, but the developers actually confirmed it this time rather than saying "When it's done." Well, id did, but VALVe still sucks at releasing on time.

I LOVE X-PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In a way I miss extended play, it was ALL about games not them. I think Adam actually gets to be him self, on extended play the only time he was funny was during the bloopers...now hes funny the whole time. Morgan...*whistle*...she is HOT!
