I would add another gig of ram, not sure about gfx card but i dont think it will be very good. yes you can play multiplayer for free with silver account. but if you already have a gold account with your XBox then you can also use that with Windows live.

It will work, but it will lag (12fps) on low settings low resolution. You also should bring the ram up by one gig (as previously recommended) because Vista alone consumes about one gig of ram if you have premium or ultimate.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Halo 2 on XP.

I would say, don't bother. The 128MB graphics will not handle it. Save your money until you upgrade. :-)

Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

Yep i've used that one, it's a pretty good job. However expect the following:

-Laggy menus
-Corrupted shadows (I assume because that was something they designed for DX9L in Vista)
-Some areas where sound screws up on some computers
-Random performance drops on the odd occasion (which, i have checked, does not happen on the Vista install of the same machine)
-Videos do not show
-Windows Live cannot connect so MP doesn't work
-Map Editor will not load
-Tray-and-Play cannot be used to install the game
-On Gravemind level, it's likely you will encounter a validation error asking for a disk. Fix it with Process Monitor, downloadable from MS.com

Other than that, it's all just fine :) It is a lot of problems, yes that's true. But then again, they never tested it on XP as it wasn't designed for XP. I think personally they could quite easily have included XP in the supported OS's, but then again, the version working on Vista, is exceptionally well debugged i feel.

H1 and Halo Custom edition name: madkiller92

Intel graphics card are ALWAYS integrated, so expect horrible graphics..... U no intel was inpressed witha 9 somthing gfx card that could make u see very basic low deatiled water on far cry? And you can't see jacals energy shuields or amour color on halo 1? I no this cause my old computer had 64mb intel and it was HORRIBLE. Get a new graphics card... intel one with lagg it with bad graphics. I think a 128mb nvidia could handle it if it was NOT interagted. My home premium takes up 1 gb of my ram, my pc said 2 gb of ram, 1 gb unused, but it still runs halo really well..... it think 1 gb would do fine as 512mb can run halo 2. They LIE about requirments. I no this cause my computer was trying to reserve enrgy for some reason... after i let it rest for all night.. it stopped after 5 sec... but halo said ur pc is running to conserve power in 1100ghz halo requires 1500ghz minimum... idk waht happend but it wasn't runnign in low power mode... i did get an error on halo 2 for a sec... i guess teh disk got a little screwed up for a while. So 512mb RAm a nvidia 4 or 5 sereis and 1500ghz r teh minimum... But microsoft put mimimum requirement to not have super crappy gameplay... i don't mind this, it's a better idea then giving teh real minimums... cuase sombody will think they'll enjoy h2 when it'll lag and suck.
