I just bought the game, but when i load it and try ot play the compaign it doesnt work and brings up an "Exception!" window. This might be of the resolution i put (everything to the max, and the res is 1600x1200), but my computer is very good (top 128 mb Nvidia video cared, 781 mb of DDRRAM and 2.4 Ghz), and played a lot of other games i have in 1600x1200 with no lag, (Morrowing for example and Unreal Tournament 2003, etc.), If anyone encountered this problem , please tell me what should i do about it, if theres anything to do.

P.S. I have tried loading the game in lower resolutions but it still wouldnt work.

Which NVIDIA card is it?

Try updating your drivers as well.

i just downloaded the patches but they dont help a little bit, my game runs for about 5 mins (15 if i start the game as soon as i start the computer) , and then the exeption pops up. Ill try to search for more patches but i doubt there are any. Oh yeah the game lags a lot on the 1200 by 1024 (or something like that) like crazy, a lag i havent seen since i downloaded the 200 mb Chronicles of Riddick trailer in 2056x1800 resolution

I managed to play through the game in 800x600 resolution, but i still cant play the game in 1600x1200 or less in more then 5 mins. I had this problem before when my video card started overheating and i had to buy a fan for it, but all fans work fine

sounds like a memory leak or sometin... what O.S u runnin?? Also, exception crashes dont come from the VGU, only from the processor. If ur VGU was overheatin, the usual thing is for the screen to start blurring and smear together. I am pretty sure its u CPU overheatin. As well, is ur comp overclocked??
