i know this might be oin the wrong forum but here goes anyways..........

i need to set up a network for my pc and x-box just wondered what type of router i should get because i know nothing of this stuff if you could post links or specs that would be great :-) thanks

There's a list of compatible routers somewhere, maybe on the Live website, but mine works, and it's a "D-Link 10/100Fast Ethernet Switch", at least that's what it says on it.

That's not a router. That's a switch. There's a pretty huge difference, one being that as far as I know, a switch can't impede XBL. :)

Pretty much anything that says "Router" on the Box at staples will work, I'd advise a D-Link 604.

I wouldn't. This thing gives me crap no matter what I do. Basically anything from here that isn't a DI-604.
