Does having the pool of possible jurors be the entire population of a country (or most of it) make sense? Especially when jurors are selected specifically from a randomly selected pool.
I just doubt the reliability of the current system (US) when a vast majority of our population is irrational.
Is there a better (but still feasible) way of having a jury? For example, we could have some sort of prerequired level of education or training to be eligible for jury duty.
