Well, obviously PCI isn't that great. You won't get anything close to the xbox as far as graphics with anything less than AGP. The data transfer rate is pretty darn slow. I currently have AGP 4x working with a Radeon 9600, and my system struggles to keep up the frame rate when all of the graphics are souped up. Newegg[/url} has a fair number of cards for PCI compared to other places. They also have a nice interface to find stuff. Another palce that is sometimes cheaper than newegg is [url=http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Home.jsp]ZipZoomFly

Radeon 9200 128MB This is pretty much it...

If you want you can get the Radeon 9250. The only real difference is more ram and such, but with PCI, I don't think you will notice much. Basically, the 9250 and its nVidia competitors is about the fastest you will get. It's not that great, either, but it will get you by.

Are you positive you can't get another motherboard(o_0)? It could be a good idea. Post system specs and we could help you figure something out.

Hey digimaster, don't get the se, it's worse than the regular - they strip it down and call it the special edition,,weird huh?

RAM should be okay, so is your hard drive. Yeah, you might just want to get the 9200. It's probably your best bet.

Yup..know where U'r coming from, got me a Barebone....could only get one wi PCI...got a Radeon 9200 (128)...it' good, does the job....to be honest apart from the issues with Active Camo and afew intermitant sticky moments...it stands against the Nvidia 5200, to about 80% ish.

I'd have been lst without it....Just waiting to upgrade the main machine...MSI-865PE Neo2-PFISR,got a spare Celeron D 2.6Gb chip, It'll do for now...then we'll go Prescott or whatever the next up tat the board will take. Think I'll go 2Gb ram.....better stop doing this and get on with some work....need more money.
