In my opion I think that it would be sorta kool. For instance have a foggy Zanzibar map.

weather effects would be nice if they weren't at the expense of resources/fps

The problem with that is though if Bungie were to do that they would have to push back the release date again.

not realy. its not a lot of programing to create little streaks of white falling from the sky (becuase thats all you have to do) fog would basicly just be a view dampener so that at a certen distance your view fogs out.

i woud'nt doubt that its already been done. and if im not mistaken there were a few weather efects in Halo so they could just take weather efects from the campaign of Halo2 and place them in Halo2 multi.

I would have it windy and stormy, it would look cool with levels with water.
