OK, I know its a double post and I'm sorry for that (please don't hurt me), but seeing as no-one is saying anything...

I'm going to put forth the problem of the First Cause. This is the theory that before the universe, was nothing, and then something happened and there was something. The problem is that there was nothing to cause this cause, and even if there was, it would mean that the cause of the cause that caused the First Cause, had no cause. Therefore, this either means that:
1) Time is infinate in both directions (future and past)
Or 2) There is one omnipotent force (not in the universe, it's greater than that), which has always been there, even before things existed, which caused the First Cause, which never happened because the causer of the First Cause didn't exist, because it was outside of the Universe, which didn't exist, meaning it does not exist, and therefore nothing exists.

So, I just proved (accidentally), that either things have always existed, or they never will.

Phew.

Assuming that the universe is infinite in 3 dimensions (as proved by Pyrojoe), it stands to reason that it is also infinite in the 4th dimension: Time.

Exactly. Nothing exists. Then there is the 5th dimension which I think is called Hyper-depth, which is basiacally its shrinking size like a cross-section. The universe must also be infinite in time, meaning that there always was a universe. It may have been condensed into an infinitly small object that was still infinite in size. Isn't quantum mechanics amazing.

What if Halo really did happen? What if all the things described in the books and the games truely did happen and that the Prophet of Truth came to Earth and activated the rings destroying all sentient life in the galaxies? What if Bungie really spoke to a Monitor of one of the seven instalations and decided that they would take advantage of this and get rich? Bungie could really be the most secret and high tech place in the world- no the galaxy and be searching the Halo's for more information.

If anyone doesn't believe this, feel free to go ahead a prove me wrong......

The current string theory that has been rolling around for a while is that there are 11 dimensions, 10 spacial and one of time. There are several versions as to how this is set up. One is Callabi-Yau Space Time, where the other 7 spacial dimensions are curled up into little... well... things. So tiny you could never see them.

Another universe is the braine universe (yes brain+e), wherein our universe is floating on top of a another dimension. Only gravitons (theoretical particles which influence gravity) can pass into the other dimension. This other dimension is kinda tiny (like 1 mm). This explains why gravity is weak. Think about it. A refigerator magnet can hold up a photo while being pulled by the whole planet.

And yet another is there are 2 parrallel universes seperated by a buffer dimension. So would threr be one being for each universe, or just one for overall?

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

yea, what if halo will happen. You never know.

Maybe Halo did really happen then and the head of Bungie is the only living thing and is telling us something.

i think that humans will never stumble or be able to work out the theory of 'life'. we are animals that are alive, and thats it. by a strange fluke number of things we were able to develop into thinking, feeling creatures that are now able to contemplate their own existence.

the fact that we are thinking about this right now proves nothing and will never prove anything. to think so highly of ourselves to think we are able to contemplate such a grand and scientific thing is idiotic. life means nothing and is only a random fluke of physics, chemistry and biology.

Wait... I'm not supposed to exist?... oops! guess I should go kill myself then.

First of all that theory is severely flawed from the start, to find out the average # of life forms in the universe? well if there's one universe then you would just have as many life-forms as there are, but maybe if you wanted to find out the average # of life per 100 light years squared, but if the universe is infinite, then your logistics should tell you that there would be infinite life, and I don't know if it's proven or not, but it's already very strongly believed that the universe is somewhat flat, besides that's how Einstein's theory of Relativity works doesn't it? And also if the universe is infinite, then how can it be expanding? And it's fact that it is expanding.

So what's my take on the meaning of life or whatever? well I think it's all just one big coincidence of how it all turned out

No, no,no. Your all wrong, the meaning of life was clearly explained by the Monty Python movie of the same name.
