I hate people my own age. Most of my friends are in college or already graduated... I love school though, at least being at school. I find most of my subjects intresting, and like learning about them. But homework blows the big one... I dread school purely because of homework, and all my academic problems stem from it.

As Matt Groening once said "School is Hell!"

I don't know why they bother to put me through it, all I do is sit there and act intresested and when an assighnment comes do it. But now I have the teachers thinking I have ADD... Retards...

I agree. Sitting in school learning about cool subjects is awesome, but then being forced to spend all your waking (and some sleeping) moments doing homework just so you can be rewarded with some Fascist letter grade is horrible.

When I lived in India, people used to say that Canada doesn't have homework. Damn it! It was a scam!

I completely agree with everything Texas said. I'm like that too.

The headteacher at my school is corrupt. She spent £10,000 on new posh school front doors JUST before the OFSTED inspection, even though the school was seriously underbudget (i.e not even being able to afford central heating or text books).
She's also fat and she smells.

They're knocking down about half (maybe more) of all the public schools in my city and rebuilding them from scratch. So now the schools that are left will be terribly crowded (and, as always, underfunded). Thankfully, I go to a private school.

I agree about the homework, it is the one worst thing in my life. Watching someone die wasn't as bad as that.

Private school is pretty cool... And judging from the intelligence of the average forum member here, really pays off.

It's quite fun when your school's funding comes not from the government but from wealthy alumni.

I don't agree with private school. It completely defeats the object of having free education for all.

Actually, that makes a lot of sense.
