Actually, weak graphics cards are still considered computer components that are priced at about $40. Halo 3 costs about $60-120 and Bioshock costs about $55. So PC components can be more expensive
RAM: $40 bucks a Gigabyte
Hard Drive (250Gb):69.99
520 Watt Apevia PSU: 59.99
DVD-RW combo Burning Drive: 39.99
AMD4200+ Dual Core Processor: 62.99
Asus M2N motherboard: 52.99
MSI8500GT: 59.99 After Mail-In-Rebate
Apevia x-infinity Case: 59.99
There's a good selection for you, of relatively decent system components that cost less than the average xbox 360 game (or within a couple dollars). And if you want to whine about something like the video card, you can get a kickass one like the x1950xt instead of guitar hero. And if you're really feeling lucky, I'll mention rock band in there too. This of course doesn't begin to count the box itself, which goes for what? 350 now? That would pay for Windows XP and another gig of RAM or something.
Game, Set, and Match.
