Well it was last night that I decided to get on halo 3 after work, and work on my highest skill for a while, needless to say since I haven't played in a while I wasn't doing to well but once I finally got a level up on my highest skill, I decided to play one more time and this time, I was suspecting cheating, which later I confirmed it by watching the video... (needless to say I lost my highest skill because of that)
me and two other guys were fighting threee more experienced people and were tied throughout the game. Once they got about 3 points higher than us, they disappeared. I know how they did it now after watching the video, But I'm not going to repeat it or tell where it was done. The whole game they hid from us so they could keep their score ahead.

and the whole time I'm asking my team "Is anyone else lagging I haven't seen anyone in ten minutes?"

Well I recorded it and got a capture of everyone who was involved and once my brother gets off halo 3 I'm going to put it on my file share, but where would I go to send my video to bungie for proof.

I mean, I haven't figured out how to report cheating in any way. The xbox live things barely works anyway and nobody hardly ever uses it.

Not only would I ask that they fix this glitch, but I would also like that, on the other hand, the three players involved get some sort of punishment for this.

Well i doubt they dissapeared, it's impossible to just dissapear, it's likely they were hiding in some area you didn't know of, what level was this on?

Yea they were hiding. It made me furious. It's on my file share now, under "Cheating Losers"

Yeah Narrows has 3 really bad hiding spots. I am going to bet they hid on the bottom bottom bridge, on that platform.

That's not cheating. It's lame, cowardly and retarded......but not cheating. Hopefully Bungie will fix this on a future update, but until then enough people know how to get down there......just follow em' down and kill em.'

Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.

Quinntology.

Actually there's about 7 on Narrows alone. And it isn't cheating, it's just a retarded why to win for cowards. Don't worry though, Bungie will hopefulyl fix it in the update coming up.

on the topic of cheating its still possible to cheat the only difference between cheating in halo 2 and halo 3 is that in halo 3 there is a small chance of victory but the point is its still possible to cheat.

All you can do is file a complaint and send feedback on them.

Yeah, they're aware. I remember it being mentioned in a news story as some point. It's patch-worthy.

Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

May I ask restrain yourself from posting cheaters here on these forums.

It does nothing but annoy members who use this site. Your thread doesn't accomplish anything, nothing at all. Bungie doesn't ban users because they see threads accusing them of network manipulation. People who network manipulate or use modified content get banned automatically by the Bungie Banhammer in due time. So leave feedback on them, avoid the player, and move on.

Don't worry, getting bashed in the skull with a hammer by Bungie doesn't sound too appeasing.

well they need to give us a set of rules on what NOT to post, or where to post stuff on these forums, since my topic has "offended" so many people...
(who sit on forums all day)
gee wiz

Like it matters anyway. I don't see how I annoyed anyone anyway, it's just a computer monitor, click somewhere else. There are 40 yr old children on forums, I hate even going to forums.

I'm just saying somethin needs to get done. Ok they already know about the problem. Thank you for letting me know. I'm sorry I decided to post something...
I'll go exist somewhere else.

The End

‘The conscious is cancerous if allowed to linger’

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."

Although map exploitation is technically cheating bungie cannot ban people as it is far too hard to track. All that we can hope is that sooner or later these problems are patched. Learn the spots then you can get one up on opponents by killing them while they are unable to easily fight back which can give you a few easy kills. On a map like the it for example you can glitch under the ramps, if you are seperated by 1 kill in a doubles match then in the last ten seconds grenade the spots, score a double and rub it in the cheaters faces. Problem solved.

Just as a note, this is technically not a community topic. This should be posted in the Halo 3 forum as it is halo 3 related as this forum is for site related topics such as the "Report as spam feature" and the bungie groups. Don't worry though, a moderator will move it for you, no need to repost I am just clarifying so you don't make the mistake again.

Cheers,
~TOM T 117
