Yes, thats right! Halo is in the works for the game boy advance. Personally I'm not surprized microsoft does publish GBA games, I think they should wait and release it for the Nintendo DS so it could have better graphics.... I am very suprized. Here is the link
http://gameboy.ign.com/mail.html?fromint=1

is it secretly being made by bungie?

It's not that surprising. Microsoft isn't looking to enter the handheld market, and anything to help undercut Sony (may hurt its upcoming PSP) is good for them. Microsoft has let some of their studios develop for the GBA already. I think there was an Oddworld game a year or two back, as well as a remake of Donkey Kong Country by Rare.

need I quote!
Well, this was something that I've known for months about, but was literally sworn to secrecy by the people involved (just like many OTHER things I know but can't say). But since it's been mentioned in another publication, I can confirm that, yes, Halo is in the works for the GBA. That's all I can say, on risk of having my fingernails ripped off with a bottle opener.

I CAN CONFIRM THAT, YES, HALO IS IN THE WORKS FOR THE GBA!!!

not sure if it is true either, but also besides ign, electronic gaming monthly 's july issue, the one out now, in the rumor mole section says the exact same thing. some sorta halo or halo "themed" game on gba. go read. THIS DOESNT MEAN ITS TRUE !!!!! but the rumor mole is correct about 80 to 85 percent of the time

well i think it is safe to say that it wont be what we are playing on the xbox. but that doesnt mean it will suck. maybe its the original strategy version of halo they originally worked on or something like that. i doubt microsoft will let it suck. besides. CONSOLES DONT MATTER !!!!!! GREAT SOFTWARE MATTERS !!!!!

Nintendo sucks ass... I hate it. They're good games should go to the Xbox, because most of their games are either sports, or really -blam!- games (When I was younger, I liked the Mascots to Nintendo, now I just want to kill them...)

interesting point lifeforce, and it is currently rumored that nintendo and microsoft might actually make games for one anothers consoles. i doubt it though and think the rumors are false. apparently they both know the sony threat is pretty real. However. i will say this again. i think consoles are just whatever. i am glad they are multiple consoles ,. competition is great for us gamers. it keeps prices competitve and keeps product innovative, its all about the software. thats what is either great or bad. i mean when you go see a movie, you dont usually go see it because of the material the screen is made of do you?

Theres nothing to say it wont happen, THQ has the rights to make handheld versions of any microsoft games for the xbox. Halo falls under that category so i'm not really all that suprised.

I don't think so. Bungie is pretty protective about their games I imagen. (Look how succesful they are.) Plus, I don't think you could make an effective Halo game on a handheld.

I swear to god that it's true mate. THQ can make 2 or 3 handheld games from microsoft franchises and Halo is a possibility. Bungie have no say in it, theey're owned by microsoft.

Well if this is true, I DONT MIND. I have a GBA and there would be nothing cooler than playing Halo on the train going to work!

LaMuerte

PS The only thing that would piss me off is if Halo would be released on PS2, which that would never happen :-))))))))))))))))

~loves his GBA, has a ton of games on it (mostly ports, and including an imported old game known as "Bubble Bobble: Old & New")~

It's funny, out of every thing I have, I think my GBA has the most games =P, Mainly because of all the ports brought to it....
