Halo helped me decide on my college major. I'm majoring in architecture thanks to my amazement with Forerunner architecture.

Thanks for helping me decide what to do with the rest of my life HALO!

Here's my story. Years ago, I was introduced to a small game called Halo through some friends at work. After a while, we were having LAN parties every weekend. Showing up to one of the LAN parties a little late, I noticed that there were a couple of girls from work playing as well.....and pwning my buddies. Eventually, I started to talk to one of them more and more and we became friends.

After 2 years, I moved to a new city and lost contact with her. It was through a fluke that I ended up working with her brother at my job that we finally started talking again. About a month later, we were on our way to a big LAN party, where she pwned me. A month later, we were dating.

It's been almost 3 years since that event and we've been married a little over 2 years and we still play Halo on a regular basis. : )

--<))))~*Eureka Heaven*~((((>--
(Those are Trilobites btw...)

I organized a huge LAN network while deployed in Iraq in order to kill time during down time, H2 was our staple and I pwned noobs non stop, we always had more than 16 waiting to play so the xbox with the lowest score had to sit out, the adventure occoured when I was unaware and I was playing against high ranking actuall officers, and apperently they dont like being swore at and tea bagged when I would blast them. One night a Lt. Colonel (I was a private class 2 at the time) came over to my little CHU (like a little house) and the next time I told him to su** my di**, he was going to send my into Bagdad wearing an american flag. lol what a noob, I made sure to hunt him down form then on out, delivering hummilating whacks and sniper shots :)

The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. U.S.G.>1828

havent found anyone interesting while playing halo 3, but i did stay at a holiday inn express last night.

After highschool, all my friends went different ways. The ones that played Halo2 and now play Halo 3 easily stay in touch. I have also met various great players through tournaments in my area. Thanks Bungie.

However, the single greatest thing Halo has done for me is silence the enemy. There is no greater moment than your significant other and her twin sister playing on your account and your friends over Social Slayer and silencing the opposing team simply by speaking in the postgame lobby.

Well, I didn't directly meet my g/f playing Halo (met her at college), but I did use it as a pickup line, in a way. When I skipped classes the day after the release of H3, my explanation was because of the release, which she loved. When we learned we both love it, we started hanging out more, playing together, and ended up being pretty dang happy together. It did nothing but better our relationship. Having something you love in common with your special someone is important, I think, and in all honesty (as sad as it may be, but a solid fact), I don't think we would have shared as many laughs with each other without it.

I met the man of my dreams on Halo 2. We have been together for over a year now. When we met he lived in florida and i live in Oregon, we talk for about 8 months when we decided to meet. He flew up to Oregon in October and was going to stay for about a week and ended up staying. He has been here since oct. of 06.

When the dust settles, you will learn what true terror is.

Beginning with Halo: CE, way back in middle school, I introduced my now-best-friend to the game. I patiently walked him through the campaign, and by the end of the first run through (on normal) we were a pretty good team. By time we ran through it on Legendary, we were soldiers. Over the years, we explored glitches, scaled levels, and created shortcuts together. We had that game memorized, and conquered.

When Halo 2 came out, we were already at the point that we didn't need to talk to be effective. And after beating the crap out of that game, we were no longer soldiers, but Demons.

So once Halo 3 came out, we played through the campaign on normal (each solo, but talking in a private chat) from midnight of release until the wee hours of the morning. Then we played through it again co-op... on Legendary. Over the following month or so, we searched long and hard for skulls, and found all but IWHBYD (which the internet was gracious enough to give us) and we dove into the multiplayer, our partnership already an efficient, well-oiled machine of death. We operated like clockwork, knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses. I would give him the sniper, knowing he was a better shot, and he wouldn't even go near the driver's seat, knowing my driving ability surpassed his. We moved fluidly through levels and maps destroying all that stood in our way. Fighting, supressing, flanking, and out-maneuvering our opponents as we slaughtered them. We had graduated from Demonhood, and were officially Gods.

We kept in touch the past few years thanks to XBOX Live and Halo, and now we're planning to go into business together. So as we go from gaming partnership to business partnership, we thank you, Bungie, for all you have given us.

Although we technically met on Myspace and bumped into each other in real life, Halo has played a valuable role in the success and maturity of our relationship. It started out when I showed her what I do on my free time ( 2 years ago, halo 2 ).. she broke my headset playing .. bought me a new one.. and things went from there. All of a sudden, we're moved in together and when I come home from work I notice my stats are all borked. Interesting. Come to find out she's learning to play, enjoying playing by herself. Now.. she has her own box and own gamer tag. We've lived together for over 2 years now.. and the best time we spend together normally is playing Halo.

I met my boyfriend at a Halo 2 tournament that was designed to celebrate the release of Halo 3. He'd just moved back to Rose Town from Medford Oregon, and his only connection to lost friends was through Xbox Live. He's his mothers inhome caretaker and doesn't get out much, but he decided to go to this torunament at Holly'wood Video's Game Crazy where i was working. It was my day off but i went for the festivities, and there he was. It's funny, because he thought i was a fat 12 year old and i thought he was a girl, but we got to know eachother and he found out i only wighed 110 and i found out he wasn't a lady. Anyways, we've had four glorious months together since then, as much as we were both dissapointed by Halo 3's storyline (made up for by the amazing multiplayer). Love is indeed in the air for us. Halo brought us together; without its existence, i doubt i would have met him.

Im old news

I was in 7th grade when Halo combat evolved first came out and well honest to God this game changed my life ,i was probaly not the most popular kid at the time you got picked on alot stuff like that, had a few good friends, well one day i decided to see if there was any way possible to get a video game club going at my school and most ppl were like wow this kid is such a loser but i stuck with my idea of having a video game club and it took 2 months before we actually got one so the first day me and my friends brought in our xboxes and halo hooked everything so it was pretty much a lan at school. Halo was my sport and it made me quite the popular one i was good at Halo 1 real good because of that beast of a pistol, soon the club got to the point where jocks would come and play, they always talked crap to me ,thinking that just because they can throw a ball they could beat me at halo. they where wrong i beat them all of them. none of the matches ever came close, as this went on jocks and other people that really never talked to me started saying hi to me alwys asking if they could be on my team when we played Halo, i got invited to go hang out with them ,see movies, go to the mall the stuff teens are supposed to due. most of these jocks later on in the years, soon became great friends of mine and still are today, i became popular, got a girl friend and lived to be a happy guy to this day , I'm Senior now only a few more months of high school, going to college to be a graphic artist and hopefully to join the ranks of Bungie Studious . So let me say thank to those first 40 people who made Halo and made a kid who was an outcast into the confident gamer i am today.

Back in '05, when I was living in a dorm, I used to take my Xbox down to the student lounge to play Halo 2. They had a nice 42 inch screen, which was way better than my crappy 20 inch TV in my room. Occasionally I'd play alone, but usually someone would stop in and I'd have a controller waiting for them. One day, the campus police showed up on a routine call, and the two cops that came by stopped in and saw me and my roommate playing a game. They sat watching us play 2 or 3 games in a row, before we finally asked them if they wanted to play. My roommate and I then proceeded to completely destroy the two police officers. It's probably the only time I'll ever get to repeatedly shoot a police officer in the face without any recourse. After they lost, they said they'd be back for a rematch. Sure enough, the next night, they were back doing their rounds. We ended up playing them 3 or 4 nights a week for the next month. It was pretty fun playing Halo against people who were carrying actual guns with them.

Ken is dumb

I had been playing with a person on my friends list that I was introduced to via XBL (Halo 2) for a couple months and finally asked where he was from. He replied with the same state and city that I lived in. Slightly intrigued, I then asked what part of that particular town was it that he lived in... again, the same as I. I asked him what street it was that he resided on and came to find out his house was actually only 3 blocks away.

I am now house mates with this fine young gentleman and play Halo 1, 2, & 3 on a regular basis.

Sweet huh?

Well, one time, I was playing rocket race with my brother. When the screen came up, one team only had one guy on it. The other guy left! The guy got mad but then soon settled down and said, "Fine, I'm just gonna go sit at the top of valhalla hill and eat my friggin cheerios." My brother got off the back of my mongoose, and I let the other guy on on. He ended up winning! Were now good friends.
