"Savior to my own, Devil to some, mankind falls, something wicked comes!"

I have made really good friends that I have been playing with for 3 years now by playing Halo 2. We talk and interact almost every day.

the big story that I have is through our love for halo, my friends and I made a song called "Party Like a Spartan" based off of the song "Party Like a Rockstar." We did it as a joke and then we made the video for it. The Halo 2 version of this video has now reached over 53,000 views on youtube and we just made the Halo 3 version for our fans with our fans. We have made a lot of friends through this video and a lot of popularity that we never thought we would get. Our song and video has brought a lot of pleasure to people and we thank everyone that has seen it and passed it on. I will never forget the time when I went into matchmaking on Halo 2 and one guy got so excited because it was me and he knew our video. The word has spread over the months and now VAHOMA is becoming popular. People on xbox live just get joy by playing a match with us. People want to be able to download the song to have on their iPod and phone. We are viewed and known all over the world from across U.S. to Canada to Sweden to Japan. It is pretty crazy the success we have gotten from it. Here are the links to both videos. Watch and enjoy and laugh. Thanks.

Wheelman for hire

I met a few friends in 2005 and helped them with a failing Machinima. We still play Halo 3 and other games, and are working on that same machinima series on Halo 3.

One of the guys and myself actually produced a DVD of the old machinima, and he sent me the DVD. He lives in California and I live in Connecticut. If that's not friendship I don't know what is...

This is our website

Halo 2&3 was a really big hit at my college, through it I met alot of people and friends who I might not have come across, I was always really good at the Halo series.. but the whole campus was hooked up through LAN, so it was constant games going on..People referred to me as the "Halo God" or something similar due to my noob pwning skills. So I just went with the flow, and got a master cheif outfit to wear around-http://www.houseshadowwolf.com/IM001157.JPG. Many have tried to defeat me, even more have failed. I am currently working on taking over a small country in the near future. I would like to thank Bungie for a great series and look forward for additonal updates.

Subject: Wait..what.....Love? Is it true Frankie?

Thus I refute thee

Quite a weird and funny way, Randomly playing big team battle in Halo 3 and i was on the other team, there was a bunch of Brigadiers on the other team and bcause i was a Brigadier also; at the end of the game they asked me to join there Brigadier party. Ayway there was one uk person in the party and the rest were american, one american made a comment saying "oh look skee you have a neighbour". So we asked each other where we lived and so on we got closer to where we actually live, it so happens to be that he is one of my friend's brother who lives just up the road from me and i have family connections with their family. so as you can imagine, i found it weird and funny.

Playing Halo since 2002, the best game ever and it only gets better and better with each new game!

Well at my school in glendale ca Glendale High School, we didnt have quite a tourneyment, but it was like $1 a game of halo 3. i killed and won every game in school. so after a few slayer games. they gave me free games, and they couldn't beat me, it was fun and i actually found out some people in my school besides my friends have xbox live. well it was a great time in my school, but everyone sucks. right now i sent back my xbox 360 because it had disk drive problems so, i'm missing halo 3 cuz halo 2 isnt the same

I did not meet the love of my life on Halo, but she has changed how I play. I no cannot play Halo with anyone else, it just feels wrong. Team doubles without her is a joke, I'm out of sync with anyone who isn't her and the same goes for Rocket Race. She also calms me down when I lose and can rise me when it feels like we're fighting a lost cause. I know it's just a game but to do something with your love that just shows off how much of an unspoken link there are between you...well it feels pretty special.

Now.. Halo is different for me than it is for most people because it's not just a game. Since the beginning.. with Halo 1 and the flippin SWEET pistol I have been playing with my friends having community Halofest's at my house. I have become INCREDIBLY close with a large group of my friends because of Halo. Halo isn't just a game.. it was a unique character that binded us all together.. something we all had in common and loved. Now I've met a few chicks playin Halo 3 online.. but talking to a chick online in Halo 3 is like trying to pick up a chick at a truck stop if you get my drift. To this day I still play with every person I played Halo 1 with at my house back when xbox 1 came out. Thank you Bungie.. you probably get enough but by god, without your amazing virtual deity.. I wouldn't be nearly a third the person I have become today.. and thank you for making me have to take anger management... you'll be getting my bill.

I met a very good friend on Halo PC. She knows who she is :P, and another on halo 2 which we still play together in halo 3 and other games, he knows who he is :P.

What? Were you expecting a forum signature?

I did find my love on Halo 2. It all began back in January of last year. My best friend had a girlfriend who was interested in Halo 2 at the time and loved to play other games that I too played. I would always go up her house and play Halo 2 with her while talking about me and her. One day my friend was being, well, a complete idiot. He told his girlfriend that he wasn't going to the movies with her and me. Thats when his girlfriend and I talked on the computer. I brought up that we should go to the movies without him and she agreed! We went to see Ghostrider and walk in the snow a little bit. We started talking about random things and then we headed out to go home. At the time her step father drove us to the movies and he drove us back. While we were heading to my house, my friends girlfriend grabbed my hand and held it! I kinda freaked inside but I went with the motion of holding her hand. Then they dropped me off at my house to go home. I looked at my railing on my stairs and it had snow on it. I put my hand over it and "washed" my hands in the snow with confusion. Well about a month later my friend found out and fighting happened between us. We are cool now but man I would never think in my entire life here on Earth that I would do such an act of betrayal but I guess he had it coming considering he has done a lot behind my back as well. As for my new girlfriend? She has become my wife! We play Halo 3 on and off and just recently we tried playing with a GH3 guitar! It was funny as hell! Well thats my story and yes it is all true. If you want the video about me and her playing Halo 3 with a GH3 controller I will have that up shortly. Lata!

Sorry, found my true love via Zelda. I'm sure Halo'd be a close second though.

After I beat Halo 3 on Legendary I was approached by an older guy who asked me if I wanted to help defend the frontier from Xur and the Kodan armada.

After I freaked out and came back home I found out they had replaced me with an android so no one would realize I was gone. After an attack by an alien bounty hunter I realized that with mad skills comes mad responsibility and I went back to the fight.

Needless to say I pwned them.

my experience is similar
except i was asked by darth vader to join the dark side
we have cookies
anyway i used my mad force skillz to pone luke and friends
and after that i fired mah lazer at random planets just for fun

I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.

Well I met two gamers about three years ago on Halo 2, and we have grown into very close friends who still play together on a daily basis even though we all live across the country from each other. But that's not all, my wife always thought games were ok and played a little but didn't like sitting there watching me constantly; it was even the cause of some rough times as I am an avid gamer. But with the release of your Halo series our problems were fragged in a blaze of Halo glory we now play the Halo games on a daily basis; and don't tell her I said this but she has grown to be a better player than myself. So I would like to thank Bungie and Halo for bringing us closer together.

Being a teenage female on Halo, and on xBL for the matter, I get quite a bit of attention.
while I have never met a boyfriend through Halo, I've net some people who would've LIKED to be my boyfriend :]
I've made tons of great friends, including a few who live near me and hang out with
and I've also acquired a long list of admirers
A bit odd, but flattering none the less :]

So, around 2005 I moved to where I currently live. A few weeks after we had moved here, my sister became friends with a girl across the street. I didn't really care and usually ignored them when they were at our house. A few weeks after THAT, my brother, who lived 40 miles away, got bought a 2nd Xbox and copy of Halo 2, just because he could for around $30 and he needed another for LAN parties. He let me borrow one of the Xboxs and a copy of Halo 2 (after about a week and a half of my non-stop pestering :P).

One day, my sister's friend came over. While my door to my room is usually shut when I play video games, it was slightly open that day. I also didn't have live at this time, so I was screwing around in campaign. While I was busy killing off my marines on Outskirts, I sensed there was someone else in the room. Sure enough, I look behind me and my sister's friend is standing in the doorway watching me. When she realized I was looking at her, she asked me one of the dumbest questions I have ever heard.

"Do you play Halo?"

I decided not to ridicule her and simply answered, "Yes." Then next question was even weirder to me. She asked, "Can I play?"

After I got over the shock of a girl asking if she could play Halo, I quit out of campiagn and we started killing each other in multiplayer. About 20 minutes later, my sister came looking for her friend and found us both laughing because her friend had stuck herself in the face on accident. My sister joined in and I repeatedly wasted them in slayer.

Now my sister's friend and I are really good friends. We used to play Halo together everyday and found a lot of other common interests between us. While she is doing concurrent enrollment in school right now (I would too, but it was a special program she got into. I was an 'Alternate'.), so we can't play together a lot anymore, we still find time to play Halo together whenever possible, mainly because while I have gotten pretty good, she still sucks and is trying to improve. While I'm hoping our relationship will go a little bit farther, so far, we're still just friends.

While that is probably the best friends I have made from playing Halo, I have made a lot more, both in real life and over Xbox Live, that I really enjoy hanging out/playing with.

Bungie, thanks again for an AWESOME game. :D

I remember the game like it was yesterday. It was snipers, no shields, on sidewinder. CTF classic on Halo PC. I was in my clan's server and I remember the first thing I said to her:
RED_Ryanman: Nice Shot
and the first thing she said to me:
RED_KitKat: is that a joke?

Despite being the typical sex-crazy gamer I eventually began to win her over. We'd alternate between talking on xfire and her screaming at me in ventrilo for getting yet another kill. She played with a controller (much n00b fodder for us PC gaming purists) and she was sarcastic. She was gorgeous and witty and so deep that withing three months of talking to her, I knew I'd eventually fall in love. It was strange to me, I'd never met anyone quite like her where I lived. It sounds cliche of course but she fit the bill for everything I wanted in a girl. We talked about people, we talked about politics, we talked about religion, we talked about love. And of course sometimes we'd discuss the game that brought us together. She grew better at the game and eventually became my superior officer in RED (http://www.darkjedi.org/club/RED)Of course she lived in Kansas (and me in Alabama) but people work out from that.... right?
The short answer to that is yes. After more than a year of talking I paid for a round trip ticket to Kansas. And it worked out perfectly. Of course there was 15 minutes of awkwardness (Her dad made a "Look, Katherine, he's not 45 years old!" joke the first time he saw me) but after that it was smooth sailing. She came down for Christmas, and those few precious days remain the highlight of my life. We're going to continue to visit each other until eventually going to the same college and renting our first apartment. How many people can say that they've met the only person they love playing video games? And kept playing to boot? Her name's RED_Katetacular now but she's still the same amazing girl she was 2 years ago. And I'm incredibly glad i felt like CTF on that lucky, lucky day.

I have a friend who I played halo with. His brother's friend was getting married in Las Vegas who I also had played with online, but had never met. The day I met him was in the casino, at his wedding, in Las Vegas. The only contact I had had with him was in Halo-world. It was great. Still keep in contact with all of them too.
