Thank you everyone that has contributed towards this thread. I believe the issue has been resolved as best it can be.

Original Post:
This is not a post about a specific user I am just using this post as a good way of conveying my point as as reference. It is referring to a thread about "kiddies" something which is the basis for my thread and for a request for a new rule.

Amazing. I see it all of the time, but it never fails to impress me.
That whenever someone has decided that there is this group of "them" and they are taking the fun away from "us" it is always, ALWAYS a matter of perspective and imaginary dividing lines that the speaker has chosen. What is ironic is that the speaker has no idea that it is possible, or even likely that to others, they themselves could be seen on the "wrong side" of that dividing line.
It's when someone realizes that where they are in that comparison is dependent on who is looking at it.... that they actually get the wisdom to stop making petty labels in order to separate people into "us" and "them" groups.
Something tells me that what I just said has people tilting their heads to one side and going "huh?" Let's try this.
It's ironic that someone will say;
"Wouldn't it be better if we (good people) didn't have to deal with ________?" (insert derogatory term of choice noobs, kids, squeakers, poor people, immigrants, girls, racial group, religious group, political group, hair color, skin color, accent, height, weight, etc.)
and they have no idea that to others, either they are in that derogatory group themselves, or are at the very least a "them" to nearly everyone else on the planet.
I suspect that if/when someone realizes that as long as anyone is using labels to divide and judge, that they themselves are at risk of being labeled.... well that moment is wonderful. Because it means that they finally stand on their own feet, decide that they are not going to accept or use such silly groupings in any way.
In other words? Shut up YOU "kiddie" (or noob, or whatever term someone chooses). Because no matter how old/mature you think that YOU are, when you talk like this, you demonstrate that YOU are NOT "mature". At least not to someone as old as me when they decide to follow your example and draw a line themselves.
Recon has summarised something very well in this post and I would like to make a request for a new rule here on bungie.net. I see it all the time too, posts about all kids being squeaky, annoying, immature. I think many take offence to the constant barrage of insults from more "mature" members who have gone through the same life period themselves. I think these threads are a form of discrimination and I personally think they should be a bannable offence. These threads turn into a flam war between the "mature" OP and the "Immature" "kiddie" who is subjected to abuse.
I think if racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination are banned then so should age discriminative threads. Please discuss I would appreciate feedback.
Thank you
