I have a hard drive and an xbox 360 elite that I got less than 6 months ago, so I don't think thats a problem.

I'm a semi-obsessive halo 3 player, and I decided I'd like to start playing halo 2 on Live to get better for LAN parties I attend. When I sign in an account it sells me I have an urgent message from Microsoft. I follow the path, it brings me to my dashboard, asks me to install something (never displays a message from Microsoft) And I repeat the process.
Does anyone know why this might be, or should I be asking this on the Microsoft XBL forums?

You need to set parental controls to allow you to play original Xbox games on live. Default settings block it. Tricky, eh?
