I have beaten every part of that game, from the main quest to the collection of every single book. It, aside from Skies of Arcadia, is my favorite RPG ever made. The new Oblivion sequel (possible for xbox 2!) to Morrowind will be amazingly good, and I can't wait. The Elder Scrolls, or just Bethesda in general, are just a great company. They never fail to deliver (good companies usually start with a B). Anyway, Bungie for FPS, Blizzard for RTS, Bethesda for RPG :D

If you need help with a quest, and I remember, I'll help you out.

I read every book in the Elder Scrolls. I kind of regret it, because it's taking a lot of time to remember. Seems like a waste. I gotta find Daggerfall..

"My knee is bleeding, can I have a bandaid?" "Today its your knee, and in 10 years it'll be your wrists, why are you making this my problem?"

Do this again and I'll brand your ass with the banning prod

I hate 1 part of morrowind. I cant seem to level up. =S

Honestly, I believe that all thje best points of the game have been covered here, so I'll just leave it at this...

Morrowind is truly an amazing game... the sheer amount of real freedom that you have is simply incredible.

The story is quite good... but I don't want to go terribly deep into it... so damned time-consuming.

I've stopped playing it, though. I am never satisfied with the characters I create, which forces me to make character after character until I no longer have the ambition to play through the first quests again in order to get to the better stuff.

I only had one character I was proud of... a Bosmer Archer/Werewolf (expansion pack). Unfortuantely, I had deleted him because I thought I was stuck and unable to get out of where I was... Damn, was I stupid. He was pretty good, too... although I was rather fond of cheating with him (using levitation to get to places enemies that were after me can't reach so I could pick them off with my uber-strong bow). He was weak in close-range combat, with low hitpoints that I should have built up a bit more... but at a distance, he was quite deadly. I think I got him to around level 40 before I deleted him... Damn it, and damn Solstheim as well! I hate that damned island and its damned pigs!

Being a werewolf is an inconvenience, but its cool, nonetheless. You can run quite fast, and your claws kill many things in about two hits.

I'll give the game a rest until I forget most of the early quests, so I can do them again and not get bored.... Either that, or simply wait for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on XBox 2... That looks lovely.

Im still living in the past, I never leave home without Azura's ring, ever. Its too easy now, but I do have lots of cool mods. And I have noticed lots of invisiposts on this thread.

Building a character is hard, Shai. I wasn't happy with any character I made for about 20 attempts. Don't do the first quests over and over. Wander. Play around a little before you make your decision. If you like the character, go do the beginning quests. If not, meh.

Even after all my quests are complete, the adventure will not be over. I'm currently creating a library stocked with every book programmed into the game. Its also amazing how many daedric shrines and vampire lairs exist, that have nothing to do with any of the quests. I've found about 15 sixth house lairs so far, and have a plan to abolish the entire dagoth line. And after that, I shall hunt down every last vampire and daedric king, until there is no evil left on the island.

I have stashes of books and pillows all across Vvardenfell, the mainland, and Solstheim.

Collecting miscellaneous items after completing all three main quests never gets old. ;-)

Try stealing back the seven golden eggs of pudarii, it makes a nice ornament for the mantlepiece.

I spend a lot of time playing around with the editor and putting books into the game and such. It's a lot of fun.

I wonder if Oblivion will be as open ended as morrowind, if not more.

Yea, it will be, or I will sue. There are going to be fewer NPCs for some reason, but they will be much cooler. Or else...

Mind you, taking into consideration the size of Cyrodil compared to Morrowind, the area to play in will be much more compact, like Tribunal.

No, the whole province of Cyrodil, not just the Imperial City. But that place is huge enough anyway. But I think I heard the play area will be smaller than Morrowind, but crammed with much more detail. Seems to be a pattern with the Elder Scrolls.

Hey, we have the same word in our siggys! Yay!

haha I didnt notice that. Anyways, with a name like Oblivion, it can only mean one thing: we'll be there for at least part of the game. I just hope this doesnt turn into an rpg style of battlespire.

The only thing I am debating about it is if I will get it for PC or Xbox 2. PC for the mods, but by then my PC will probably be too old for it by then.

I'd choose Xbox 2, my computer seems to crash the minute I install any game larger than solitaire.
