Morrowind is truly an amazing game... the sheer amount of real freedom that you have is simply incredible.
The story is quite good... but I don't want to go terribly deep into it... so damned time-consuming.
I've stopped playing it, though. I am never satisfied with the characters I create, which forces me to make character after character until I no longer have the ambition to play through the first quests again in order to get to the better stuff.
I only had one character I was proud of... a Bosmer Archer/Werewolf (expansion pack). Unfortuantely, I had deleted him because I thought I was stuck and unable to get out of where I was... Damn, was I stupid. He was pretty good, too... although I was rather fond of cheating with him (using levitation to get to places enemies that were after me can't reach so I could pick them off with my uber-strong bow). He was weak in close-range combat, with low hitpoints that I should have built up a bit more... but at a distance, he was quite deadly. I think I got him to around level 40 before I deleted him... Damn it, and damn Solstheim as well! I hate that damned island and its damned pigs!
Being a werewolf is an inconvenience, but its cool, nonetheless. You can run quite fast, and your claws kill many things in about two hits.
I'll give the game a rest until I forget most of the early quests, so I can do them again and not get bored.... Either that, or simply wait for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on XBox 2... That looks lovely.
