xfire, I understand, but people will compete over anything... the more pointless, the more passionately they seem to compete.
But the campaign stat tracking, especially at the global level is similarly "pointless", but just as "interesting" or "fun" for some people to look at and consider.
I mean if we are able to see just how many Brute Chieftains died today compared to yesterday, I wouldn't consider it too much of a stretch to say that someone may be curious (or even passionate) that they have gotten X number of medals in their custom games. The "value" of them is admittedly subjective.
Someone who uses customs for nothing but tournament practice with similarly serious players, and someone who uses customs for simply "screwing around and setting things up".... sure, they could both have 30 overkills and each get some pleasure out of that fact. But I would hope that both would know that comparing any two people's custom game stats is even less relevant than comparing apples and oranges.
Yeah I understand. I just didn't want too have people harping over custom games like they harp over Social stats and other such things. Its kind of irritating to see things like that, but I mean I have nothing against campaign stats, actually I like them a lot and wish I could see how many Brutes I killed. So yeah, but I think that it should be made clear that, it isn't boosting if you do it in a Custom game just to mess around, unlike Social/Ranked play lists. But yeah it would be nice, and it would only be a personal pride (like all stats should be).
