I don't know if anyone's posted or noticed this yet, but in the firsy Halo, when you throw a grenade, you use your left hand and hold your gun in the right, but at the end of the Halo 2 E3 2003 Video (the second one) he holds the gun in the left and the grenade in the right hand (in the cinematic). I don't remember the actual game play in the game play videos, but I think he throws grenades with the left. Did Bungie make a mistake in the cinematic?

Also noting that the Chief is right handed (Uses right hand with single weapons) so if he's surounded by a load of black armoued commando Elites he's gonna want his best hand free for precision grenade throwing.

Oh and it's just a cinematic, does it really matter?

It's I cinematic! Exactly! It's the backbone of most good storylines in games, and Bungie is concentrating on creating a good story. By the way, It's just like 5:00 in the morning and I have nothing else to do. Finally, in an answer to my own questioning, maybe Master Chief can use both hands as well as eachother, or he's Ambidextrous.

I would think master chief is ambidextrous, with all that genetic engineering and stuff.

With all those Genetic enhancements I would think he would be able to use both hands.

And with the camera angle they chose it would be better if MC held the grenade in his "downstage" hand.

I noticed that, and then said to myself, "hmm, does that make any difference? No, it defnitely doesn't..."

No I Agree with Commander Andy a few posts before this one; I think bungie did not make a mistake, think about it, if master chief is supposed to be this powerful super soldier with incredible abilities why put limits on his abilities by making him right/left handed? The M.C being ambidextrous makes perfect sense.

Sure, normally he throws with his left hand.

However, normally he has a gun in his right.

We can assume because of his preferred gun hand that he's right handed. Why then, wouldn't he use his right to throw if he wasn't carrying a gun?

Geronimo is the most correct. It's a classical

It's a cinematic law that your most important subject appears on the left, at about the 1/3 mark on the screen. Variations off of that theme impart messages that are picked up by our subconcious. There's an entire science to it.

Those cinematic guys know what they're doing. Kudos!

Wow... people really go out of the way to find Bungie mistakes... COME ON! They have over 5 months (I think) to fix the game. Complain then, not now! Besides, I don't think we will complain when Halo 2 does come out.

but he drops one gun. if he normally uses his right hand to shoot, why not keep the gun he didnt drop in the hand, and throw with left, as usual?

people complain now because they know that if they complain when H2 comes out, every one will criticize and hate them, and an angry mob will come to kill them in the night, and we dont want that, do we?

That is all, farewell

Also, not that MC punches with his right hand with the plasma pistol (i know its halo 1 stuff) and if you watch him punch, he punches with his left when looking at him from thew outside.

Anyway, maybe cheif prefers to throw with his right hand when he has a chance and isnt engaged in a Ravenous battle?

Of all the thing you could pick to complain about, this has to be the strangest.. Who cares if he's right handed, left handed, or ambi? All that really matters is that he kicks ass, right?
