This has gone on long enough. I understand that there is a community here and that it is possible that a member of it may need help. Any of these recent threads are NOT help. They are focused on a single member who is not involved in the conversation. Allow me to quote from the Bungie.Net Code of Conduct (which we really should look at more often).
Love Thy Neighbor
The Bungie Web Sites and the services provided therein are not to be used to transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable content, as determined by any Bungie Web Sites employee, designee or admin. This includes material which a user may find embarrassing or which may cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort to them.
I cannot imagine how any of these threads that have no participation from the individual who is the subject/object are "helping" anything.
[color=white]Here's the real scoop. If you have someone online who is speaking about harming themselves, talk to them and encourage them to find help, not online, but in the REAL world. If you are no longer talking to them, then you are talking ABOUT them and that is just plain wrong. Talking about people does not help them, it's gossip, it's rumor mongering, and it ends. I'm not sure exactly, but due to an IM conversation, we now belive that Xeroh is dead. A moment of respectful silence please?
