When you host a game and it ends how do you change the map. I know how to change it while the game is still going but how do you do it once the stats come up. Can anyone help me?

I think the only other way is to set up a dedicated server...

How do I do that?

That depends on whether you want to set up for Halo PC or Halo CE because they are different. Halo CE already contains the dedicated server files that you need, but with Halo PC you need to download the file for a dedicated server along with the server map pack and patch.

After you have downloaded what you need, it is fairly straight forward. Just install the server and add the map pack. Once you've done that, just set up an init.txt (which the dedicated server looks to to know what maps and gametypes you want to run), and hey presto... a dedicated server!

Heyyo,

For listenservers (probably what you're running), you have to hit enter to reload the map after the round ends, and then you hit ESC, go 'game options', and go 'new game'. Pick the gametype, the map, and you're set. ;)

Heyyo,

Ya know? I've never tried that Iamwhie, I'm sure it would work the same since a listenserver's the same deal, just the player plays innit at the same time while a DS is meant for others to connect to it...

Heyyo,

Yeah, you can only change maps DURING the game, not after that round ends. So you have to hit the 'enter' button on your keyboard after that match ends, to start a new one, then switch maps. ;)

Heyyo,

Well, you can try console commands, see if that works...
