I assume you are trying to transfer music. You did burn the cd as a music cd and not as a data cd didnt' you?

The Xbox can't read CD-Rs. It can read CD-RWs though.

They both should work. You would have to make sure they are both written as an Audio cd format though. At least I haven't had a problem with either. I have been known to be wrong many times though....

I purchased Xbox music mixer solely for the transfer tool that lets you transfer music straight from your PC to your xbox. There is still a timely proccess of converting the songs to allow them to be used in games once you have them transfered. But it is so much easier then burning several cds then transfering cd by cd.

It depends which version of Xbox you have. The originals only read CD-RWs.

I burned them as audio and not data. What programs do you guys use that seem to work? I've tried Nero and have also used Windows Media Player and neither of them worked. Also, what company of cd-r's do you use? I've only tried Sony. Thanks for the help.
