Cortana 5 is a carbon-based lifeform that frequently visits these forums, currently residing in the United States. Practically every male on the site responds to her posts.

I've noticed that on the Community Home page, it gets messy towards the bottom...
Here's what I'm talking about...
Overlapping Text
Mixed up coding perhaps?
Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just my computer?
Note: I did a search on this, and I could only find a thread about the drop menu. Sorry if this has been posted before.

LONELY ORPHAN! PLEASE ADOPT!

It's probably just your browser... are you not using any of the more popular ones? (different browsers interpret code differently)

I'm using firefox with a few addons.
Lemme check what it's like on IE7.
EDIT: It's working on IE7.

Simple formatting issue.

It happens on any of the "master" forum listings (Main Public Forums, Halo 3 Shared Files, Other Public Forums). If the subject line for the "last post" listing is beyond a certain character count (or lacks a space) then the display word wraps and dinks up the formatting for the remaining forums in the list.

Makes sense. =)
It's not exactly a huge issue. And it's either my addons messing up the view, or just the fact that I'm on Firefox.
Thanks. =)

Happens to me too.

I just kind of go "Meh," and move on. I'm too lazy to delete my cache.

With the amount of coding and java that went into this page, you would think it would be a pretty simple fix (iE make the max display characters right to protect the formatting, or just have the layout expand according to the text). Im no web genius (just a beginner), but I have seen it done on far simpler sites than this.

ya, gotta know who you are...

That may be just it "on simpler sites." The complexity of this site could make it very easy to break. I remember the Bungie guys talking about fixing one bug(halo 3) only to create several more. It can be very touchy.
