Ummm, rather than making a new thread for this related question, i'll just post it here.
My video card (ATI All-In-Wonder 9800pro) has the ability to let me watch TV on my computer. However, it also has an S-video input. If any body can tell me how to hook my Xbox up to it. I think I might be able just plug the Xbox in and play it on my computer while recording, but, I don't know. If any of you have this same video card, or one similar, I would like to know if you could help me.

Yes, if you can watch tv on it you can record. You could use the s-video input or hook it up through your coaxle (sp). I have a Pinnicale video capture card (PCI). I edit loads of vidoes for practically everyone in my town.

You just need to get an xbox adapter with s-video. But, as I recall the All-in-Wonder card has composite inputs as well (not component). The cable that came with your xbox will fit that.
