I did a search but didn't find anything too current to post in. As I recall there is still no way to do this, but I figured better safe than sorry.

Currently, I have two email address, one is my private email the other is my gaming email. I've been mulling over whether or not I should consolidate the two into one new email address. If I do, is there a way that I can keep this B.net profile and switch it over to my new email address? Because, I know I can relink my gamertag to the new profile....

Anyone have true information on this?

Controlling fission events without incident since May, 2012.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it, as long as the new account is a Windows Live (or hotmail) as well.

Yes, there is. In order to do this, you are going to have to pay close attention. Use the same login information you use to sign into your Bnet account High Truth to sign into your WLID account on this page here. After loading the personal account data, there should be an option to change your email address. However, the link will not be there if you have a Hotmail account or have already verified your email address. If it is there, just select it and follow the steps until the process is complete.

After that, it would be advised to verify your email address through a program commonly known, such as Windows Live Messenger. Now you will simply use your new email address to sign into your Bnet account High Truth. With the fall dashboard update for the Xbox 360, I am unaware if any new changes were made, but I will give it a try based off of memory. I am almost positive that changing your email should not affect the gamertag issue.

If it does affect it and for some reason your gamertag is associated with your old email address, you will need to perform an action that switches your email address attached to your Xbox Live account. This is done through account management on your Xbox 360 console. You may go to this thread here for further assitance, but all you would do is change your old email to the new one you are planning to sign into your Bnet account on. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a private message and I will help with what I can.

If you unlink you gamertag your Heroic member status will be gone. I think linking it back up will bring it back but I don't really know about that part.

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

The only way you can change your email address associated with your current Windows Live ID (essentially changing your Live ID "login name") is if it isn't a MSN, live.com, or hotmail.com address. CrypticGuardian is basically correct - if you can't find an option to change your email address on your passport profile page, you can't really do anything.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.
