We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

Bungie:
They brought us Halo 1 & 2, as wel as a host of older games such as Marathon. Most of them are first person shooters, although the story plays a much greater role than in most FPSes. I'll leave it off here, as you probably already know plenty about Bungie and their games.

Blizzard:
They brought us Starcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo. Each game can be played for free via Battle.net, and you are unlikely to find a time where there won't be plenty of people to play against. You can make modded scenarios for Starcraft and Warcraft and play them online, which adds a huge amount of replay value to the games. And while they often make expansion packs, they bring what is probably the best argument for them to the table; their expansions are good. The biggest problem with their games is the storyline; they are not nearly as strong as the ones that Bungie brings to the table, although they are still deeper than in many games.

Personally, I love Starcraft more than any other game, including Halo 2. My vote therefore goes to Blizzard. Sadly, my modem refuses to let me play it without a great deal of lag, so I haven't been able to play it for some time. But I still have the memories.

I pity you. I pity you a great deal.

Think of it this way; it's a lot like chess, but faster and with more explosions.

I love Bungie for the greatness that is Halo. Was about to vote for them, since the Warcraft/Starcraft storylines and given multiplayer wasn't incredible...then it hit me.

The crafts did an amazing job with bringing an excellent, incredible, undescribable editor to the table...AND not only that! They made it EASY to download maps other people make. WOW, then creativity of the fans of Blizzard exploded into many new maps, even with the basic editor starcraft had. Once Warcraft III hit the market, the editor was crazy good. So many options, anything you thought of you could do (with the addition of the skinner). I LOVED custom games to see what people enjoyed in games, get experience in a lot of categories of gaming, etc etc.

So, for me, its comparing apples (great 1st person shooter) to oranges (mediocre game, incredible editor). I'll vote for both.

I too will have to pick Blizzard. They had me addicted to Starcraft for years, and Diablo 2 for a year after that. Never really got into the warcraft scene... but they were good games too.

Bungie. But it's really close to a tie. Really close. Like if Blizzard outstretched its head, its nose would touch Bungie's shoulder.

Hafta go with bungie due to the fact cheating is more rampant on Blizzard and if you say I am full of bs then I suggest you go check...

I'm going to have to go with Bungie, since I've only played one Warcraft game which was for the PS2 or PS1 (I didn't take a close look at the case). The Warcraft game was pretty fun, and I instantly liked it. Blizzard looks like they have great games, so I might have to try one out sometime.

Blizzard is awesome. Its true. Warcraft is the best RTS (not counting Rome: Total War)
Diablo is pretty cool, but I say they should either redo it or make another. I am getting World of Warcraft shortly, and I can't wait. As for Bungie, well, you all know about their games and stuff. I say a tie, but if someone had to win, Blizzard.

Blizzard.

Bungie has Sgt. Johnson and Frankie - about the only two things I really care for from Bungie.

They're uncompairable. They are two different companies that make their games very differently and distinctly. Both are awesome in their own, unique ways.

Hum.. I don't recall any console ports of Warcraft. Are you sure you weren't playing Starcraft on N64?

I remember that. The worst thing that could ever happen to an RTS, but thankfully Blizzard must have realized it's mistake, because I can't recall another starcraft or warcraft game ported to a console system. There simply weren't enough buttons on the controller to properly play the game, which made it very un-fun.
