I think that is truly unfair that PC gamers are free to mod any level, create any level, but if an xboxer tries its shunned upon.

thats so messed up...No one better say, well, we get Halo 2 because we all know that would be inevitable Halo CE or not.

well, people are modding xbox, just like you say, and we still get nothing. Honestly, whats wrong with coming out with an exansion pack for Halo xbox?

BUNGIE could actually MAKE MONEY on it.

It frustrates me so much because its a perfectly good idea, and would only increase the fanbase for xbox players.

i disagree with that. Halo is 2 years old and bungie has made a lot of money off it and they are spending a great deal on halo 2 , there is no reason to make expansion packs for a game that has a sequel coming out for it. Think of halo 2 being the expansion pack.

Just think ppl who own halo pc will be b!tching and moaning that we have halo 2 and they dont.

They'll make the levels, but they won't be half as good as the original versions!

Oh, and they get the new stuff because it came out later. Besides, they won't be getting Halo 2 for a while after we do, if at all!

I don't think it would be fair to all the PC players if Bungie left out the editing stuff just so we don't be jealous. Come on, man.
I heard that Bungie started on Halo 2 right after Halo shipped, so that would explain the lack of expansions. Why do you think they had Gearbox doing most of the porting? They were busy on the next big thing for the Xbox!

everyone stop -blam!-ing. if your so jeleous get halo pc. The reason we dont have the editor is because halo xbox came out first, and xbox cant load editors. Noones listening to your -blam!-ing. Halo xbox is still the best game ever, they just have some mods (wich arent so good in my opinion)

It's not possible.

Bottom line, no matter how much crying you do about it, Halo for the XBox was not designed to accept new content. The programming involved in making it possible for users to create their own content was never developed for HaloXBox, nor will it be.

The Halo engine had to be almost completely rewritten for HaloPC, and then major components were rewritten AGAIN for HaloCE. The ability to use the user made maps is not a matter of a patch, people literally have to download Halo to play them.

Halo for the XBox is not designed for additional content, and this will not change.

They can have there HaloCE/HEK additions or whatever, with some new maps and guns, but I'll take my Halo 2 over that anyday, so they can keep their mods, I'll keep Halo 2, its as simple as that, when Halo 2 comes out, us Xboxians will hold it over the PC's head for a LOOOOOONG time.

I'm not jealous, I'm envious. There is a difference. I would love to use that plasma mortar in say damnation, or even the new levels out for pc. I guess I'll just have to wait huh.

Look at it this way: you can either have Halo (2) when it comes out on Xbox, or you can wait a year so you can play some lower quality mods on PC (which would probably take another year to be implemented, as is evidenced by the just-released editing kit, in relation to the 6-12 month prior release of the original game).

Be my guest and choose the latter.

Whoohoo! I'm not gonna be "hanging it over" anyone's head, but that's just me. I am grateful, though.

I haven't seen Halo running on a kick-@$$ rig that can have everything at full detail, so I wouldn't know. Remember that it's a port, and ports are rarely perfect. I think that the extra content that wasn't finished in time for Xbox Halo is worth the less-than-perfect graphics, though. I played it once on someone else's network with really low settings and had a blast. The FRC is sooo cool...

Bingo. Couldn't have said it better.

That's a whole lot of NOTHING we Xbox gamers are getting....

here is why the PC gamers got new stuff...
HALO PC CAME OUT LATER! we got halo xbox first. they couldnt add new weapons and levels on Halo xbox if it was already released. AND no one is listening to your whining. so be quiet.

Some of the best gameplay I've seen and PC people sacrifice that by using a keyboard... I personally don't understand it.

For those who plug a controller in, I apologise.
