You hear the new D12 song "My Band"? You hear the part where one of the rappers (forgot name, dont give a -blam!- unless its Em, Nas or Jay. But you already know that...) says "My dressing room is smaller than a decimal" (or something like that)? How the -blam!- did he figure that he could rhyme dressing room with decimal? Garbage ass mutha -blam!-a.

:-) In the illustrious words of Jay-Z: "This isn't the show, I'm just e-qing it." I see I've found a new friend. :-)

Will "D12" be played twenty years from now? No. Enjoy their sub-par lyrics and their rehashes of every other rap song while you can.

I thought crap in the media is commonplace now. Why is this example special? I agree with ajenteks, except for the enjoying part. There's soo much poorly done stuff in all distributed media these days that I don't see why this bit deserves special mention.

Edit: Is this particular one just the feather that broke the camel's back?

Cmon guys, I hate rap too, but widow's taste in music isn't our concern. This is the flood, he should say what he wants.

No kidding! I have an exactly opposing huge opinion! I think it's insulting to our species, and perhaps to sentient life in general, to throw reasoning out the window like that. Pulling random ideas out of our @$$es is often amusing, but such ideas should stay in thier place. When we start imposing on others, we're being jerks.

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion, or expressing it when asked, as long as you don't make others treat your opinion as if it were fact.

Yeah I found out the hard way...

I still don't like rap though. I'm a non-conformist. I base my interests on what I like, not what the majority likes.

What does everyone see that is good in rap? All that they are doing is rhyming and talking with beats that repeat in the background.

I wasn't trying to do anything in particular, except express an opinion. His post looked like sarcasm to me, so I thought I was seconding his opinion... just in a less relaxed way because I'm so keyed-up about it. If he was really being serious, I didn't mean to Gripe. I just don't have a sense of humor.
