Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

I'm going to solve the hidden message so we can have another one. =) Give me awhile and 'll have it solved.

I've been trying off and on since the message was first put up; and I've still gone absolutely no where. =(

I've got nothing. Over 15 minutes and nothing.

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."

-Tried multiplying the first two numbers, getting a number, then finding it in the alphabet. Did the same thing for others. Didn't work.
-Tried matching numbers to letters, then rearranging. Didn't work.

Maybe the numbers in the brackets tell how many words are on that line.

I pretty much did as icefire was doing:

3 words ddeehiilmrst
3 words ttmlhieedda
4 words txenstiawaegnellahcruoy
3 words aioswydnt
A1|B2|C3|D4|E5|F6|G7|H8|i9|J10|K11|L12|M13|N14|O15|P16|Q17|R1 8|S19|T20|U21|V22|W23|X24|Y25|Z26

That's what I've got so far. Not sure about the brackets though, probably not words.

I chose Rokit as the winner of Part 1 because he truly nailed exactly what I wanted to hear. First thing I was looking for was Welcome to Bungie.net. He got that and continued to flow through using most of my recommendations given. I thought prometheus25 had the most creative introduction and I'll give him credit for that, but that wasn't specifically what I was looking for. I gave Ppr 8 Kut the runner up because I loved his outline, but it felt like it was just telling them beneficial information, rather than welcoming them. Thank you guys for participating.

As for the hidden message, I can't say anything... but you are on the right track Coffey4780. Remember this is a solo challenge, however since we already have a MVP winner, I would highly suggest working together in order to make it to the next challenge. Take your time, don't over think anything, or second guess yourself for that matter. Good luck.

Thanks! And congrats to Ppr 8 Kut on the runner up, and prometheus as well for the creativity.

As for the hidden message; I have also tried doing the alphabet backwards and assigning a '1' to 'Z' instead of 'A'. That too did not seem to work...

I think I have th solution. Match the numbers with the letter of the alphabet it corresponds to. Then when that's done unscramble it.

Makes almost perfect sense.

I think all of you are so close, but are cutting yourself short. So what if you are on the right track, but the visual appearance of what you have so far doesn't look appealing because it's not the correct answer. It doesn't necessarily mean that it is wrong and you should scrap the idea or start over, it means you have to say now what? I know this, where can I go from here? Why doesn't it look like the finished thing? Well, maybe if I refer back to what we had to do in Part 2 to solve those answers, I can figure this one out as well.

If what I said is right then we need to try to scramble these.

Here's a pattern I noticed: The first two rows are going down or up while the next two are mixed up.
