I... agree with you... but your example was very bad. There's nothing Bungie can do about social problems. Although we apparently don't count for much around here, moderators do post often, and probably in that thread several times. I don't see how having a Bungie employee say "racism is bad" is any different than another person saying "racism is bad."

Overall, I don't think they're doing a bad job with it, but there is some room for improvement.

I think I'll move this to the Septagon where you might get some intelligent replies.

I know that life inside of Bungie Towers is quite busy, with work being done at an insane rate. I know that every single member of the Bungie team is most likely working their ass off from the minute they clock in to the minute they clock out. Seeing as how Bungie has created several fabulous games from scratch, they're obviously good at what they do.

However, I believe that Bungie could make things even better (though that's hard to believe) by increasing their efforts on the community side of things. So many good posts drop to the bottom of the pile simply because they're never acknowledged by Bungie. For example, a post was recently made in regards to racism over Xbox Live. Many forum-goers are outspoken about this issue. It's clearly something that the Halo 2 community cares about. Yet the post will slowly spiral down into the depths of "forum post Hell" and reside in page 27 of the New Mombasa forum...eventually.

If I'm wrong, please tell me why. But I whole-heartedly believe that the Bungie community will be much happier with their favorite videogame company if that company would acknowledge their fans' opinions and needs.

Agree if you wish, disagree if you must. Just make it logical, please.

We were thinking about a weekly thread review. But for the example given in the first post, the best thing you can do is send feedback about that particular player.
