Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

If Bungie just stuck with selling games with Microsoft, then they wouldn't get much, but if you go multiple to other companies, (depending on how much they wish to pay for it), they'd get triple the money.That's not really true... Microsoft is probably the best video game marketing and publishing company in the business. They have three of the fastest selling games of all time in Halo 2, Halo 3, and Gears of War.
While the huge installed userbase of the Wii would probably make a game profitable, there is no gaurantee that the Wii userbase will actually want a Bungie style game. For millions of people whose only video gaming includes "pick up and play" games such as bowling and tennis, it might be hard to convince them to try something as involved and fast pased as, say, Halo or Myth.
Also, keep in mind that a game made custom for one system will almost invariably be better than a game made for three systems. This is simply because the three consoles are entirely different to make games for, in terms of making use of system resources. While I'm sure Bungie could handle it, it would take a lot of work to keep the game at the highest quality in all forms, and there would be risk in spending all those resources on making the game for multiple systems when it might not do well on the other two.
I actually think that a Bungie game for the Wii or PS3 would be better for those respective systems than for Bungie. The wii currently lacks any games that appeal to core gamers. The only exceptions I can think of at the moment are Mario Galaxy and Zelda: Twightlight Princess (which hasn't really made any waves since it was released a year or so ago). A Bungie game would have the potential to show what the Wii can do if it's really used. And the PS3... let's be honest, it has like one game worth playing at all. While this might change soon, Sony would probably be grateful for any good games.
