I would first like to say that I am an avid and expierience halo fan and player. I have played the console games for many years and I have always been interested in the PC versions. I now have a PC that I think is able to run them, and enough intrest to play them. I am wondering what halo pc game I should get though, here are my criteria.

-I want my computer to be able to run it on a decent setting and smooth and such (see specs below)
-I am not interested in the super competitve side, thats what my xbox is for (i am just wondering how the online community is, if it still has enough casual players to be fun for me)
-I am majorly intrested in just messing around and having fun, are there enough mods and such for me to play around with and have fun (how many, quality, ect)
-price is not really a problem, but dont tell me to get both, i just want one

System Specs
-HP Pavillion dv6648se Notebook
-Intel Centrino Duo Processor
-2 GB of RAM
-Windows Vista Home Premium
-200 GB HD
-Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X1300

So which game should i buy? and if you need any more information just ask

Thank you

Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?

Halo 1. If you want community, casual players, fun mods, go with halo pc. H2V wouldn't even run on you're integrated graphics card, and it's rediculously buggy anyway. Just so you know, this is coming from someone who has both games. as for mods, after you get halo 1, be sure to grab halo custom edition and some cool maps here. Halo 1 should run just fine on your machine. As for population comparisons, at any one time Halo pc has about 2000 players, while halo 2 only has about 70. That and Halo PC is about $20 cheaper.
