who says you have to be an ace to have fun?

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

There are more people playing the Xbox game than the PC version of H2.

Also, you would need a new video card too.

Hope it runs on that man... you DO know you can pick up a computer that's around twice as fast for five hundred bucks right?
To clarify what everyone said... you basically need an AM2 processor or a Core 2 duo, and an actual video card to play most games.
The system you have right now will run Halo CE, but it won't look as good as on an xbox. Be aware of that.

Long live the Last Refuge!

why would you even want to play halo 2 if you have halo 3.

Besides a smaller commuity

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Hey guys seeing as no one has replied to my question in another thread, i'll ask here.

1st. If the computer has a sticker on it that says "Designed for Microsoft Windows XP" and not "Windows Vista compatible", can you still upgrade it to vista?

2nd. What about this, will this be able to play H2V well?

Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80GHz
2.79 GHz, 512 MB of RAM

RADEON X300 SE 128 MB HyperMemory

Thanks!!!

1. If it's designed for XP it's possible that label was placed before Vista compatible standards were available.
2. Nope.

The stick is a little peice of metal, what in the world does that have to do with what's actually in the computer. Yes of course you can upgrade to vista, but I suggest you also upgrade to 2 or more gigabytes of ram too.

You onyl need 1500 mhz to use h2v, but ur pc will be slow and crappy, integreted grapahics SUCK, a 300mb integreted is killed by a 100mb non integrated. You play halo 2 at lowest setings and a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooootttttttttttttttt ttttttttttttttttttttttttt of lag. And 512 mb means u can only ungrade to vista basic, and 512mb runs h2v. U can run it, but u'll hate how slow and ugly it is. O and my old pc has 64mb integrated graphics, halo 1 will run like crap too, intel was impreseed in far cry to show very low quality water! that's there BEST! there graphcis suck, but thier processors r good.

HMMMM i have a dell laptop e1505 dell said it would play halo perfectly...I was lied to

I have a way old computer that i am upgradeing........People say its not worth it but i actually ow it quite a bit

Its a old compaq deskpro 2000 with a intel pentium chip/windows 98 installed
It brought back to life a Completely dead hard drive!!!!!325 gbs i think it held
anyway it took three weeks for that to happen

so i put my own built in speaker, coverted my ipod suffle into memory for it
installed a dvd player set it up with games and soon to buy a pci graphics card for it with cd player

THIS old computer has done so much for me/it never crashed on me like the other three i have it helped me with a very important report for school, the others failed at what it didn't. and it plays youtube videos perfectly,

To say its comeing to collage to me along with my dell e1505

I even had somepeople ask to buy it..its not worth it by graphics but its worth it when you need it for documents and....You know its a great computer to have end of story.

Let me know what

Your processor is way too slow. You need at least 2 GHZ.
You need at least 1 GB of memory.
You need an Nvidia 6100/ATI x700 video card or above, preferrably discreet so it doesn't use your system's memory up.
A bigger hard drive would be desirable, as well.

I forgot to say my pc is a old 1995 computer haha

anywho computers have been badly degraded
example my new dell from 2006 crashed while trying to save a important project
A hp from 2003 crashed trying to do the same thing
one of the newest processors with 3 hardrives each within the hundreads CRASHED ALL THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And a old 1995 compaq with a forced ipod as memory DID NOT
its been around hmm lets see1995-2008 thats 13 years!!!
as soon as i get a pci graphics card I AM GOING TO PLAY HALO on it
its a low processor but i am willing to see what happens
who knows it MAY work but 99% it will not do to the extremely low processing power LOL
If not then there is always old games like total annihlation to play on it and big maps with 9 other computer players and you can control up to 1500 units with the current old graphics it actually stood all those thousands of units moveing at once and thats a lot of processing power there so why not try halo on it.

AS FOR HALO 2.. that is way out of the question for my compaq because it runs 98 when halo 2 works on vista
Dell laptops cannot take this sort of stuff ive seen in action so i know
Alienware is a good company to go with for a computer to do what you want
they do not cheat you of you time and money you get what you want....But they are exspensive.
If you really want to play halo 2 get a newer computer or turn that computer of yours into a OIL BASED COMPUTER and things will be alot easyer for you in thosands of ways
you will be able to p[lay halo 2 vista on that low processing computer of yours

LIQUID NITROGEN was use on a low processing computer and mer seconds it was a super computer but it crashed due to haveing a os that could not keep up with the processor speed

Take it from me turn your comp[uter into a oil based computer and you won't have to mess with it for years to come!!!!
