I'm betting I'm the only person on this thread that has actually even played with a PSP.
I'll get both eventually, but the PSP comes first. Anyone that says "3 hours of battery life" is wrong (It's closer to 6 or so hours), It looks great, the games on it are gorgeous (somewhere between a PS1 and a PS2), reads memory sticks, has a very impressive launch lineup, and only costs $180.
Correctomundo. I also might just be getting a PSP for a graduation gift from my parents. I got a DS for X-mas and it's pretty cool. Most of the analists(IGN.com, GameInformer, EGM, etc.) have said that the instuction booklet said it's 4-6 hours. But it all depends on what you're doing and what everything is set on. Everything being volume, brightness, and other stuff.
My only problems is what the price for a larger memory stick would be. IGN.com said that everything in the value pack is pretty much useless(but I'll still get it) including the memory stick which only has enough room for game saves. Then there is the "analog" stick. I can get used to it's feeling, but it might interfear with portability. That being you might break it over time by just putting it in your pocket.
Then agian I just might get a big bag to hold all my stuff for both. Or...get two seperate cases specificly for both(DS and PSP insignias in bags).
