We seemed to be fairly settled down as a single community now, so perhaps it is time for us to assemble and figure out some kind of strategy to get some recognition by Bungie, rather than just being tossed aside.

Communication with the webmaster seems to have come to a halt, besides the occasional warning by the disembodied soul. So does anyone have any ideas to get moving?

This is a call to action. It's time to get the ball rolling and as a community, actually get something done.

Why? Halo PC/CE pales in comparison to the other games and other systems in terms of the community.

Yeah, the community's small NOW, but back in the day, it was boomin'. You have no idea how many people I know that quit the game just because of all the problems with it. Good people that contributed to the community.

Where did you get THAT figure? I seriously doubt that... there's no way that 1.2 million people buy this port of a game from 2001 every year. No way.

What we need is a couple programmers! I of course have NO idea how to fix some of these problems, but couldn't CMT get a "patch" out that fixed a lot of our problems? A relatively competent network engineer or two could do it. I'm sure that we couldn't use the gamespy servers anymore, but for direct IP connect stuff for competitions etc. would go a long way to making the game more playable.
