I dont think they were talking about a book, becuase what they were talking about had pictures..Maybe its a strategy guide or somthing...although if you're right, a book w/ pictures would be cool, just as long as it comes out after Halo 2 is released, i dont want to be tempted with the storyline.

Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

Not nescarially, the "Cool Art" could be the cover of the book... I would assume they would do a book again, since afterall they had one for Halo... why not H2?

Oh, Lord. Look. Read the update again and pay close attention to who mentions the book project. That would be Lorraine McLees, art director extraordinaire and wife of gun nut Robert McLees (who says in the Halo 2 documentary video "I make guns," while grinning maniacally). So the book that (see the update again for the details) may be created and released into all our sweaty little hands, cramped from playing Halo 2 for weeks on end, will most likely be....wait for it...AN ART BOOK, a la "The Art of The Matrix."
Buy many copies of it when/if it comes out, boys and girls, so more like it may see the light in the future.
By the way, if that wasn't clear, the book mentioned in the update was not a new Halo paperback novel. But I wouldn't rule one of those out by Christmas.

I think its an art book to, which i will also purchase but in answer to your first question, i think there will be two more books. one for the halo 2 story and one after to fill in any plotholes and loose ends

Not only did she mention the artbook, but there was another project that was going to have "pictures and words" so to speak.

Unless I read wrong, it really does sound like a Stragety Guide.

There was a new book on a website somewhere... know this isn't much kind of help but it was called "The art of Halo". Really sorry i can't remember the website but that might be it.

I have read all the books and I loved all of them, but wouldn't it be cool if they did a HALO comic book! Let me know what you guys think!

My thumbsticks will be your Doom.... sorry 'bout that.
My Stats

I'm pretty sure Bungie confirmed an "Art" book a while ago (if not then it hasn't been a big secret). It's a book so it'll definitely have words. You don't need "Art" for a paperback you just need "one piece of art" for the cover. And yes a graphic novel would be cool but doubtful to happen and another paperback would be sweet whether at X-mas or not.
