Question regarding group organized posting in the forums.

I’ve noticed that a certain group within the optimatch forums has been bumping threads off of each other, making repeat cross advertising posts in the stickies, quoting each other within minutes of the original post, etc.

I was wondering if this type of behavior was allowed and if there could be anything done about it, because it is getting quite annoying seeing the same posters post the same off topic posts, and link to threads made by their groups over and over.

No it isn't allowed. Report these posts as spam and wait, soon they will cease movement for the ninjas are coming!

To give you an idea, take a look at this thread. The users HungLikeHorse656, eingram21, The Unknwn, SWATphiend, BlkYdPease, I T0ker I, and yaaarp are all in the same group, repeatedly bumping the thread with posts about things like orange juice. If you read through the thread, SWATphiend vows to bump it every day, and cross posts about 10 times. Another example is a thread like this where the users post off topic comments and quote each other, on the aim of their group, which is completely off topic.

Here someone captured all of swatphiends contribution to the thread. It actually managed to get worse, with suggestions like cans of cream corn for starting weapons and other clear nonsense.

It IS as bad as you think and they ARE out to get you.

Yeah, just report the posts as spam. There is not much else to do.

Well, the problem with that is if you dont check their groups, or see them doing it over and over, you wouldnt catch on as to why it was reported. The mods are really busy, and I'm sure they dont have time to check on things such as this.

If this is the case then don't hesitate to PM the mods.

This thread tells you (approximately) which moderators are online. If you see an issue gather your evidence and PM the mod, it will help them to carry out the crushing.
