*I was blacklisted for condemning the 2 girls 1 cup video on topic in a thread that was repediatly spammed to the top by others. These other people got away with it though because they werent replying on topic. How can it be ok to spam a thing to the top but not saying that "this is wrong".

Thats one

*Ive been blacklisted by supporting the OP when the rest of the people in a 5 page thread flamed him. All the flames made one of the mods decide that the entire thread was spam and blacklisted everyone who had replied. How can you decide after 5 pages that the topic is spam? You dont get to decide what the topic is based on the replies, that would require 6th sense members who knew when it was safe to reply and not. I dont know what the person after me is going to post, well in this particular case I got a feeling of whats to come.

Thats two

One mod just warned me for replying to a post that was in the wrong place,. IT WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE, that doesnt make it spam and you can not warn me based on that im replying to spam when im not.

Thats three

...and im out for good. Ive been a member of many sites since the late 90´s and this is by far the most incosistent, Im not a freaking mind reader. Implementing member titles just adds to the stupidity since you know damn well that not all of the mods are judging things the same way and that this might affect some members while others are repediatly moving under the radar. What are they there for? Every time the subject is brought up everyone's claiming that people shouldnt be treated differently due to their titles so what the hell are they good for? The majority of the people who has them are those who are only posting ttwice per year anyway.

Yeah you can close this now and throw in a BL while you´re at it.

I try to avoid making threads; it hasn't been all that good for me. As for the replies, it's best not to reply to threads that are breaking any kind of rule. You can be blacklisted or warned for that sort of thing. Just report it as spam and be on your way. It's the moderators job to enforce the way he/she wants. I guess there are no guidelines on how to do that. If he thinks you should be blacklisted then he will blacklist you and most likely won't care.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstien

I have been just as unlucky as you have. I have been banned for bumping, banned for replying in a spam topic, and banned for "harassment" when all I was doing as a simple debate and was calling out the other guy for using several curse words. Not to mention my infinite blacklisting circle due to Disembodied Soul.

Sometimes we are just unlucky.

I have never been warned or blacklisted (as far as I can remember).
My secret, just walk away.
I often type up whole posts, then just hit back, and am better off for it.

I suppose vigilantes never get the respect they deserve. Like the smear campaign against Spider-Man by the Daily Bugle.

Halo3Planet, the place for all things Halo 3..

Need help finding skulls, make sure to go here.

Well, in the first and the third, you replied to spam, which is a blacklisting, especially if it's a a shock site. All you did was keep it bumped. I'm not sure about the second BL, but, if you thought it was unfair, you should have reported it to a master moderator or Achronos.

Also, the trust system is automated, and that's what gives members their specific titles (except Theme Master and Webcam MVP, which still weren't decided by moderators).

Thats Right I Was Banned For Watching The Webcams Too Much!Combat Arms - X647"He who'd walk a mile just to hold an empty hand, knows what it means to be a wealthy man."
Skin This Place Alive...

The best thing to do to avoid being banned is this:

Take a step back before you post, hit preview and read it over like it was the first time you saw it.
Think to yourself "If someone posted this and i was a mod, would i ban them?" "does it comply with the rules?" "if someone else created this thread/post before me, would i flame them or think it's dumb?"

I do this every time i go to post something (340 times a day) and i only end up posting a small percentage (5 posts)

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

I suppose that there are people here who take blacklists personally.

I dont know why. Post whats on your mind and if you get bl'ed for it, so be it.

TALK HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
