In the past hour or so several threads have been locked on another forum. And everytime I see this happen a few guys start making threads condemning the Ninjas for locking them. Even though the threads are being locked for a reason.
People forget about the rules and it gets annoying. Not all threads are locked because of the OP. Sometimes they just get out of control with trash talk. The Ninjas work to maintain a somewhat civil forum for us. And if you think about it, it can't be that easy. With so many post popping up all the time there is a lot of stuff to go through. The Ninjas spend there time going through everything and locking when neccesary. Why all the hate? They aren't paid to do the job, they volunteer(as far as I know).
So instead of flaming them on the forums and making their jobs that much harder review the rules and see where the thread went wrong. And if you still can't figure it out send them a PM.
Without rules and people to enforce them there would be chaos. Anarchy doesn't work in real life, nor does it work on forums. There needs to be rules and enforcers.
I just want to say thank you to all the Ninjas for keeping our forums clean. Anyone else stand with me?
