I guess youse guys don't know this, but I swear up and down to (you know who) that this really happened. I can't remember the exact magazine or real specifics, but this was also on the Science/Discovery channel. Einstein, during WWII/WWI (I don't know his time period) was aiding the government in a teleportation experiment on a big Navy Cruiser. The Cruiser, along with the crew of a hundred some odd men, vanished. A few hours later they appeared, back in the same port. The crew was in pieces. Some were fused into the hull, some into other crew members. Some had body parts in seperate locations on the ship. It seems that, at the time at least, the human body can't handle the splitting of their atoms that is required in teleportation. I swear that this is true. They have documents hidden on it, and some were stolen and revealed to the press. Not all of the info came from that though.

That was in the Weekly World News, a tabloid. This is the worst tabloid of all. I mean for Christ's sake, batboy?

If we go back and change the past, will the changed past be our past or will it be someone else's past? And if the past has been changed before by someone from our universe, will we know? Are we currently living in someone's alternate universe?

God, I love time paradoxes. ;)

We will change a different universe's future if you mucked with the past, if you like my theory.

yeah, because if someone went into the past, would their past copy have to go into the past to prevent something bad from happening? they would (theoretically of course) have to go to a different dimension so if they were to do something like kill their parent's he wouldn't die or something strange like that... they would just kill the themself which may or may not go back into the future, or by the randomness of genetics that may be of the opposite sex... but different dimensions would definatly be needed to not do something wierd physco thing...

According to my theory if they screwed up the past it would have no effect on them as they came from a different future in a different dimension.

Exactly, and another interesting question, if they tryed to go back into the future, would they be able to go to their future?

Ah yes, the "Philidelphia Experiment". I'm not sure what to make of that. The government was involved in a lot of strange experiments from 1942-1991.....

I don't know if its still available, but if it is, How to Build a Flying Saucer, is a great book to read... It has many subject in it... one is how prehistoric man could have built the pyramids/Stone Henge, how a flying saucer could fly using centrifical (Spelling?) force, and other scientific anomalies (spelling?)... its a fairly old book so i dont know if you'll be able to find it easily...
